I think when you're very young your dreams are incredibly big and expansive. But life happens along the way and you sidetracked or reality occurs and you have to adjust where. you thought you were going, or what you thought you could achieve.
Everyone can't be a doctor, lawyer, astronaut, nurse, computer whiz. But, I met a male nurse yesterday who was cheerful and efficient and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was also attractive. Might've been 40, 45, I asked him how he got into the field, because there aren't a lot of male nurses, 12 percent in general nursing.
He said his father had a heart attack before his eyes, and that changed his career 15 years ago. He smiled, and continued, "And I've never looked back!"
He was a wonderful nurse, too. It was a joy to get service from him.
So life happened and this guy had a sea change. Some take a straight path. Others have several dreams and careers. Opportunities present themselves and decisions turn you in directions you'd never imagine. Or, roadblocks stop you. But, everyone has to make choices to stay or go. Do or don't.
The point is to make choices that provide some challenges and joy and peace. Do something you like to do, even if it's simple. Being a great barista is a fine job. I know a Whole Foods cashier who's the best cashier in her store. I get in her line no matter how long it is, or stop to squeeze her shoulder and say hello. She lifts up my day!
Doing a GOOD job, no matter what you do, being helpful. That's always the ticket. You can work on your dream as a side gig, or being great at what you do can be your dream. It doesn't matter.
Very well said ❤️
Kisses to you too, sweetie!
I think only a few people are ballsy enough to reach for their actual life goals/dreams with their fullest potential. Too many get shoved down and demoralized.
My instant answer was no because I thought of all the people dying or about to die at a young age. And those living a life so numb that death would be okay. Then I suddenly wondered what most people really dream of. And I can't answer that, I think I have an idea but then how to verify?
I think I would not know what to do with life dreams, I'm just chilling here, in this life.
Thanks for the thoughts you triggered 👌🏼
I owe you a shot 🥃
Okay but just a little, 2cl please or 20ml, or you know, this dose
Of course ❤️
I think not. Most people do not achieve their life dreams. Research suggests that a significant majority, around 92%, do not achieve their goals, according to Psychology Today. This disparity is often attributed to a lack of actionable and realistic plans, rather than a lack of ambition, according to Psychology Today.

No, but that is okay as long as one shoots high and misses by a little. Some people seem to have no dreams, which is tragic.
