Would you apologize for taking a raincoat to an interview?

I have an interview tomorrow and it's pouring down with rain so most likely it will be windy too.

I've got a purple raincoat which comes up to my knees which I was going to wear walking through the main street to get there.

I've got a nice outfit to wear but the first thing the interviewers will see is me holding my raincoat.

Will the interviewers think that's unprofessional of me taking my big raincoat?

I'd take an umbrella but part of the way is not sheltered and umbrellas blow inside out.

Personally I wouldn't apologise for doing the most sensible thing... I would sincerely hope that those interviewing you would take and make note of this... At the same time it would show their common good manners in offering you somewhere to hang your raincoat.
