9 moI have always had flexible and situational morality and ethics. So a pirate is basically what I am. I think my careers so far have been in that wheelhouse. Places where rules and guardrails are more suggestions than mandates, I have a lot of room for interpretation of my duties, and I'm free to make it up as I go. A very specialized, self directed role in the military and the same sort of role in Fortune 100 then private equity and now my own consulting firm.

9 moI've used ChatGPT for some deep introspective work and it knows my personality pretty damn well. Better than my own family.
It's said I'm best suited for being a creative entrepreneur, brand founder, author, lifestyle coach or motivational speaker (that's debatable in my opinion), running a web design or digital marketing agency, travel blogger/vlogger, or being an eco consultant or plant shop owner.
I love all the ideas it's mentioned.10 Reply

Teacher, for sure. I was a substitute teacher for a few years. I love the education field. 😌

Being reserved can be a strength in careers like librarian and writer, where focus and introspection are valuable. These roles allow for deep engagement with literature and information, aligning with a preference for quiet reflection. You might also consider roles such as archivist, researcher, or editor, where attention to detail and independent work are prized. Finding a career that respects and utilizes your personality is key to fulfillment, and your inclination towards solitary, thoughtful work suggests these paths might resonate. Prioritize environments that appreciate your strengths and provide opportunities for personal growth.

9 moI've had a lifelong career as an engineer, which suits my personality quite well.
In fact, back in high school, we all took a test to determine what our ideal (recommended) profession should be. My test results said I should be a technical person, for example engineering.
21 Reply For me, I can't just be one thing. I need to experience everything. You would make a very good writer and a very good librarian. I like the librarian thing
