What kinds of things really annoy you in the work environment?

Where do I start.

Bad leadership or none existent leadership - to the extent that my former leader had a mental breakdown due to stress, then got a great leader but she is does not have the people skills to do the job. (Her own words) Let's hope that turns around.

Schedule issue. Got a move around of colleagues which left holes in our schedule which meant we got moved aeound a lot for a period. + A lot of extra work.

Standing by watching a child mentally struggle to the extent that she has a break down, yelling at us to go and kill ourselves, that we are not equipped to help her and that she needs more than what we can offer (and I agree with her) without having the ability to actually do much for her unless she harms herself or us (more than pushing and little hitting).

Watching children be neglected to the extent that it is undermining their well-being and development without the system doing a rats ass.

My field continuesly being taken funds from, making us work more for less (more so for adults but the child with the breakdown shows it's rippling down to us), leaving the vulnerable behind.

And with co-workers: those who don't pick up their shit like practical work and are unable to put down boundaries. Had a terrible experience with one co-worker who luckily is not there anymore.

I need to note with this little rant that I actually really do love my job. It's just outside circumstances that can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Im working as a waitress & barmaid while at college. You'd think it would be guys creeping on me and yes I catch guys looking at my ass or my boobs but most guys are teddy bears and good tippers, for instance one time I had a flat tyre and this married guy in his forties who was always checking me out and I knew wanted to f*ck me came over and changed it with no fuss, said good day darling and went on about his buisness.

Who is really hate are Karens or the dreaded Black Karen also may be known as Shaniqua that's like a a regular White Karen on steroids. Generally women are bad tippers but Karens are hell on earth. They will try to get you fired over an order they got wrong and want free food.

I'm my own boss and my own employee, so I can't afford having things that annoy me.

But when I used to work for a company, things like :

- colleagues arriving late at an important meeting

- your boss asking for unreasonable things to be done in an unreasonable time span

- people spedning more time smoking, drinking coffee and chatting than actually putting in work, and then complain at the end of the day they have a heavy work load.

What frustrates me most is when managers don't do their job they are there to do, and won't take responsibility, by taking the easy way out, by doing nothing.

People involving personal relationships in to their work relationships, aka, ‘screwing the crew’. It’s different if you were already dating before you started working at the same place, but if you start screwing your coworkers or dating, it makes it SO awkward for everyone when you have little fights or you break up or whatever and we have to continue working with both of you.
