I get to the final round in interviews but never get the job I’m starting to worry what can I do different?

I used to be a technical interviewer at my company. There are 2 things I always looked for when interviewing someone:

1. They had done their homework about the company, its products and services, and clearly identified what they could do to help the company.

2. They clearly described their experience and how that experience would fit in the company.

First reason is you will have money coming in.
To a potential employer you will look like someone who will do what it takes to become successful.
It will help take some stress away.
You will look more employable.
You will be making potential contacts that will know others that are looking to hire.
It looks good on your resume, you started here and have steadily moved up.
Its easier to get a job if you have a job.
