So why do most of the kiddie winkies from the past 40-some years think they need to start EVERY sentence with the word, "So"?

So I just watched a 90:00 video, an interview, and every answer this guy gave started with the word, "so"!!

Like, I've noticed this myself. It's like they can't step into communication unless they like say the word so!

So yeah. So Fido, speak.

So I don't like it used at the start of EVERY sentence when it's not needed! Except for 3 or 4 instances in that interview, there was NO NEED for him to start out with, "so" So is mostly to be used as a continuation of a statement, NOT the beginning of one! It's like someone answering a question by starting with, "I mean..." You HAVEN''T SAID ANYTHING, YET! "I mean" comes AFTER you've made a statement and you feel it needs to be explained a bit better.
I guess English teachers no longer teach English, anymore!
