Even if it’s just a small thing. For me, it’s being able to support elderly people and help bring them comfort and dignity in the later stages of their lives.

I work in a supermarket in an area with an older population, my area is sometimes called "God's waiting room" lol,,,
The best part is helping older people and those who are somewhat cognitively impaired, we have a lot of social housing people from the nearest city,,,
A close second though is lying to rude customers about availability of items that are not on the shelves, if we don't stock an item any more, we might say that we'll have some later today, make them come back later,,,
I worked in retail, I know the feeling! I once had a customer, very nice, polite, ask, "What Items do you have in the back that you don't put out here on the floor."

It has its perks…
Well 2nd one was buddy taking a picture of me/my boat, but the rest were me. Tug captain
Well, in summer I mostly work for my parents on a little farm, gardening, harvesting, canning, making wines and ciders and helping run the little farm stand. (I do love working outside with nature so that's a gift in itself)
And it's really worth it for me 'cuz I get most of the winter off so I can just lazily lounge around in my jammies all day and post on G@G. 😊
Lol, and I SO have one. It's horrible. 🤣
When I used to work for 30 years it was always my pleasure to be a secretary and administrative assistant because I always loved my jobs assisting many people and always did it with a smile 😊
For me, it's witnessing the growth and transformation in individuals I guide. Knowing that my advice helps someone reach a pivotal moment in their career or education is incredibly rewarding. Facilitating positive changes and seeing others achieve their dreams fuels my passion and dedication to this field.

I absolutely love your heart
It takes a special person to do what you do I mean special in so many , many ways
For the last four years of my mom's life , she was living with my sister and I had her move in with me because of her reasons
The first 3 years. It was okay , it was all right , but the last eighteen months of her life was the hardest thing i've ever had to do in my and I've had some jobs that\nYou had to use every part of your mind , body , soul spirit , to do some of the things , to make some of the things that we're building work
You would think something so simple that you do for yourself every day would be easy, but it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do because I've had to watch a person that you love, turn into a person that you have to be patient with and you still have to love to give them. The best. Of everything until the day they die
If nobody has ever said thank you to you, I say thank you to you from everybody you have ever helped. And their families are very beautiful person
My 'job' is currently studying a PhD. It challenges me intellectually and allows maximum room for creativity. My whole career is a little upside down, and I'm okay with that. It suits my personality.
Jimmy Jnr was in 3rd grade and every student was to organise to bring a parent to school to talk about their career. The teacher goes around the class. Later that evening Jimmy Snr's phone rings.
Jimmy Snr: This is Jimmy.
Teacher: Hi, Ummm. If you have a moment. This is Jimmy Jnr's teacher. The children were all talking about their parent's work in class. Jimmy Junior seemed reluctant, but eventually shared with the class that for a living you play piano in a whorehouse?
Jimmy Snr: No, no, it's nothing like that. I'm actually an economist. But how do you break a thing like that to a poor little child?
So... my answer to your question is... piano playing.
@7phoenix77 For you m'Lady... I am here but to assist...
Lol.
Fine. Have some piano.

Awweeee I love my job!
I get to smile and teach the little ones. They learn so much. They are so sweet and innocent!
I love it … makes me feel like I don’t work one day.
I could be tired in the morning sometimes… but once I start teaching… I get super energetic.
I feel like I am giving them a goal, a purpose. They make me feel a good sense of accomplishment.
I can’t never do what you do, and thank you.
I'm disabled and not working so I didn't have much to say for this one
I do want to say you are an amazing, kind-hearted, compassionate woman 💞
Everything. Even the challenges are interesting to me.
It pays me a lot of money. The company i work for does save lives and help people daily, but all I do is work in finance department of their dysfunctional headquarters down town.
I love to solve mathematics problems and teach them.
Thank you 😊
if you enjoy what you do for a liiving like I do you'll never work a day in your life.
The people I work with (high school kids). They're so genuine and honest with developing and enthusiastic mindsets. Adults could learn a lot from them.
Coming home to my wife and kids with food on the table, heat, electricity etc.
Definitely the pay check, health benefits, pension, retirement, paid holidays, paid vacation time, sick time & overtime.
We are told to take pride in the work we do because we are the people responsible for feeding the word. Without us the world staves.
I am meeting and helping new people every day.
My job is Trade ;
Human relations and trust.
The salary and benefits.
I’m a male escort/entertainer… the money makes it worth it but also getting to see women get so excited over me. Also getting an extra “tip” often makes it worth it too
I've hated all of my jobs and did it for the pay
Not sure anymore?
It's called fatigue, and disappointment. I love people and the ones I work with, it's the broader picture! Thanks for the support. 🙃
I always try. Cheers!
The people I see everyday.
The money and opportunity to travel.
Flexibility and pay.
It helps me to be a provider for my family
The income
I get paid !
The paycheck
