The grass is always greener on the other side. I wish I was busy with clients. I wish that my social life was more lively. I wish I saw family more often. I wish I had more nights out. If anything, I'm jealous of busy people. Because when I die, I'll have many less experiences than them if I keep going at the same rate

I remember times being stressed out in my job and working too many hours, being envious of those who sat around looking out the window being bored. LOL... It was like my life was consumed with either working or sleeping at the time. Thankfully my life is way more laid back now.

Reminds me of when I was about to leave highschool. Sitting on a couch at a friend's place. They were all potheads and I was watching two buddies argue about DragonBall z.

All of a sudden, this thought kinda paralyzed me

"10 years from now, we're gonna be in the same room with the same furniture with a different Xbox, talking about the same shit" and that was when I knew it was time to leave town.

Best choice I ever made. Even though sometimes I miss those days. I understand why some people want to live simple like that but I just can't live like that on a regular basis 😂
