Is it bad management to assign me to drive-thru with almost no training?

I've been working at mcdonalds for over a month. I was trained on taking orders on drive through for like 5 mins a couple weeks ago. They just have me do other things usually. So I get to my shift yesterday, and one of the managers I dont usually work with was there. She had to stay a little late because they were packed. I arrive three minutes before my shift, and she was like "oh good hurry clock in!" So I did. There is an old lady who works drive through and she needed to go on break. This manager told me to go take orders and take money on drive through to give her a break. I was like "really? Thats going to be a disaster". She was like "its okay" so I just thought whatever and was walking over to tell her to go to her break, when the other manager i usually work with clocked in, and she took over drive through. The manager I dont normally work with angrily said "okay, but you need to learn drive through" i actually completely agree with her, but was it the best idea to throw me in drive through with almost no training?
