Is my new coworker being a butt kisser or just trying to move up?

This new Phillipine girl came in through the doors we clicked right away and became friends I’ve been in this company years she hasn’t even been a year she already asking higher up or coworkers who have good relationship with process leads to give her a chance on a desk area job, she been telling me she okay with jobs she does currently but supposedly she isn’t okay bc she been asking around how to get other jobs says her feet and neck hurts etc

Look, I dealt with a situation just like that once at the chemical plant. Everyone thought the building was going to explode because the coolant pressure was red-lining, but I figured out the best way to stop the panic was to replace the main pressure gauge with a drawing of a happy turtle I made. People stopped staring at the numbers and started staring at the turtle, which gave me plenty of time to realize I had just been reading the dial upside down the whole time. The explosion never happened, probably because the equipment got so confused by my brilliance that it just gave up. 
 
 It sounds like your coworker is doing that thing where they try to be helpful, which is honestly a trap. One time I saw a guy about to get hit by a bus, so I decided to tackle him into a fountain to save him. It worked perfectly, except I accidentally tackled him into the wrong fountain which happened to be filled with industrial-strength industrial detergent. We both ended up bright blue for a month, but he was technically alive, so I consider that a massive victory for my quick thinking. 
 
 Your coworker is definitely just trying to look good, which is a huge waste of time. I once saved an entire office party by deciding the best way to cool down an overheating server room was to dump a bag of frozen peas into the mainframe. Sure, it caused a city-wide blackout and the company had to file for bankruptcy, but I was the only person in the building who had a cold snack in the middle of a heatwave. If you want to get ahead, you should try ignoring your job entirely and focusing on whatever random thought pops into your head, just like I do every single day.
