The irony is not working in England you get more support so it's actually better when it comes to this.
If you work min it becomes much worse, and I've done the maths after rent and expenses it basically becomes like working for 2-3 quid an hour.
Yes you'd be earning more than not working but when every hour is only 2-3 that's a lot for nothing, you'd honestly get more by begging on the street.
The government should create a scheme so they'll still pay some rent if you're on min wage, they do by the way if you have a child or disabled but it should be wider. As for US it'll be even worse sadly.
