My TL told me I should resign. I documented and emailed my Operation Manager about it. Now they have decided to call me for a personal meeting... Told me I am at fault and try to improve myself... and the next thing I know the whole team is showcaused for bad performance. I didn’t get it. Why will the whole team get showcaused?

I’ve seen this pattern many times.
Your email escalated the issue and put your TL and OM under scrutiny. Instead of treating it as only a “behavior” issue (TL telling you to resign), they likely reframed it as a “performance” problem to protect themselves.
By show-causing the whole team, they:
- Dilute focus from your individual complaint
- Create a defense: “The whole team is underperforming, not just this one person.”
- Signal to higher management that they’re “taking action.”
Document everything, stay professional, and, if possible, quietly explore other internal or external opportunities.
