Is it wrong to judge people by income when wealthy people may be more generous?

Most of my female connections are rich, and none of the rich women I met outside family look down on poor people. I see normal wage people who dishonour the poor while my friends are millionaires that go out of their way to buy gifts for people who struggle, as well as cooking for them, and running errands for them.

And they do it in secret.

The only reason I know they give money to poor people as that they sometimes tell me they have to show up late or leave early for social events we planned because they need to help a poor person they know. They do not share their names with me because they want to protect their privacy. They just explain that they have to modify our social event times so they can offer aid to poor people.
