I started with this company in a finance position 2 months ago. And the training has consisted of me shadowing a supervisor. And the supervisor doesn’t explain why she’s doing what she’s doing. And sometimes her answers are vague. Because they didn’t give me my own tasks or responsibilities, I don’t feel valuable. I’m literally an assistant at this point when my title is a senior financial analyst. I’m simply assisting the supervisor with what she does.

So the lady training me acts nice, but I’ve been shadowing her and she goes through the process without really explaining why we’re doing what we do. What the different terms in mean. I have to ask her everything. Then she had me running reports as if that’s good practice but I’m running reports that I don’t know what they represent. I don’t have my own thing assigned to me. I’m working on everything she does as her right hand man

Nothing is "FREE" , so you pay for it in one way or the other. I know people that won't buy a product if there is shipping costs. They are too stupid to realize that the price they pay include shipping costs. You can't raise taxes on rich to pay for these programs. There is not enough money there and rich people and even corporations will leave country taxing them. Trump used tariffs to get some of that money back , but I don't think tariffs really worked. High taxes is why Corporations left America and why US doesn't make anything.

My only thing is that in person is going to be awkward. Plus, I already have a job lined up so I don’t need their referral and they aren’t on my resume

I just started at this company, and the lady training me (she isn’t my manager), but whenever it’s lunch time she’ll be like “so let’s have a 30 minute lunch?” Even though my company’s policy is 1 hour lunch. She just assigns us 30 minutes. She’s done this several times. Also my hours are 8-6 and sometimes she’ll be training me through 7 or 7:15 with no regard to the fact it’s time to go home.

Job 1: I’m not happy here. I started only 2 and a half months ago but the job duties on this accounting role have not been enjoyable at all compared to what I used to do in my past accounting roles. The training is poor and it’s slowing my progress at this company. this is a midsize American company

job 2: just got an offer from a huge European company for an accounting role. Same salary. Except they offer a pension and 401 k. My current job offers only 401k.

Job 1: mid size company, American company. just started here 2 months ago, 30 minute drive, salary 95k

Job 2: one of the largest companies on the world, European company, 20 minute drive, salary $100k

How much money did Trump spend on frickin coal mining jobs? I’m sure Biden is doing the same.
