@GreatnessPersonified I do gameplay and AI too. I used to work in Unity and some Unreal too but I've been hardcoding it in OpenGL. I'm also making my own game engine.

Isn't there a bunch of things that are an escape from reality? Movies, music, drinking, those all alter our perception somehow or let us experience something different yet they are all acceptable in moderation, so why would escape from reality be an automatic negative?
I guess I should rephrase; escape from your problems.
