No it won't because the constitution forbids making a law hindering free expression: meaning they can't make books illegal. Even Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler is legal to read. I'm arguing in terms of science and technology because sooner or later we will have a better way of absorbing knowledge without reading. Also, because many books are being made into movies.
@Ninjaorbes it's not what we want, it's what is going to happen because technology changes things. Nobody has the need for horse and wagons to travel, even though 120 years ago people thought the economy would collapse without wagon companies to deliver goods. I'm a realistic scientist who understand that technology will change everything.
They really do, but if u think about it people feel that they dont have use flr books anymore so gradually there will feel like there is no need for them so it doesn't need to be banned to be disliked and unused.. books become useless when they aren't read anymore
And my arguments is that books will be replaced by advanced technology.. I know you're 18 so you probably missed The Matrix , but once technology reaches that point we can just upload every piece of a book instantly. Why read a book on martial arts when you can say "I know Kung Fu!"?
@Ninjaorbes I'm sure the day will come when our great-grand kids will laugh when we tell them about the archaic technology of putting ink on a slice of dead tree. That technology might be closer than we think because I laugh when I hear my grandpa tell me how people had to go to the library whenever they wanted an answer to a fact. How did those people live without the internet?
A red haired country girl talking to a city boy, that reminds me of a song: Just a small town girl Livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy Born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
I guess neither of us can stop believing in these theories of ours. Which we should both admit they are theories.
so thanks to the Christians we almost didn't have Harry Potter? can you imagine a world without harry potter? *shudders* I'm glad those books didn't get banned lol
People who want to extend their vocabulary, for fun, and to escape into a carefree world where you can be the author and the character seeing life's value through a different perspective.. you should try it sometime

Let's just ban all books and give kids movies or video games.
And bring on the downfall of humanity.
Its happening.. gradually.. and the thing is o one is arguing about it because its what they want
@Ninjaorbes true. A few decades from now, reading banned books will be considered breaking the law.

This entire my take is about books that have been banned. Plus even when books are made into movies, they cut a lot out.

I like the feeling of a book in my hands. also because books smell good. I get high off the smell of books.

I live on the countryside it's not that hard. I think oxygen is more important than the Internet. But that's just me.

Journey? Nice. And yes they are theories.
Didn't expect to find Harry Potter on this list.
I was shocked to. But you can blame Christian communities for that.

looks like my jr high reading list, just missing the illiad
yuk
About Harry Potter - Dumbledore is NOT gay, only the actor who played him was gay.
Yes Dumbledore he fell in love the man he ended up on having to kill
www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/.../
That's awful and disappointing... J. K. Rowling must be under the influence of some gay lobby ☹😵 😦
Awesome MyTake :) I really enjoyed this.
Harry potter was really banned? Wow I didn't know, it's like just a "kids" book honestly
Yes apparently it glorifies witchcraft
That's really strange. In my country it was all good. It was banned in usa?
Not everywhere but in some counties or schools would take it out of libraries
That's really suck
😨😨 Dumbledore is gay 😨😨
Yep he even had to kill the man he loved. Basically because he was the Wizards version of hitler
I read all but two of those books in high school.
Lol is this your ap lit reading list.
Most I read for fun. And no, i took regular classes even though I was smart enough to be in AP lit.
Great my take!
Who the hell still reads books?

@Ninjaorbes very true. The number one reason I read is because I find this world boring at times.
mein kampf isn't banned anymore?
