My review of Frozen 2

On a free Sunday off before Thanksgiving what do I do with my time? I go to see Frozen 2. This installment deals with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf go into an enchanted forest and the Indigenous peoples of the forest. Just a warning there are going to be 2 spoilers but none of them give the plot of the movie away.

First of all I feel like the story in this movie had more action and moved rather quickly. It showed sacrifices and acts of love between the Sisters just like the first movie.

The Sisters have different looks in this movie. Anna wears her hair without her braids and has new dresses. Elsa also has new dresses and lets down her hair midway through the movie.

Oh and the thing about Elsa getting a love interest, yeah.... it doesn't happen.

There are a lot of flashbacks to the first movie so you really don't need to rewatch it.

Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Pros:

It was well paced not a lot of filler

The voice cast was superb

More action than the first

The only Con:

The songs are not as catchy

It tells a really good story and actually feels like a standout movie from the first. I personally recommend it.

I finally saw it. It's pretty amazing. It's an adorable fest for sure. Everyone in the theater awwwed :) many times. Especially when it came to the adult relationships between the main characters. there is really something to be said about with Anna and her boyfriend, good relationship stuff. They also have fun with a clear 80s music video parody towards the middle. This is a much more mature movie than the first. At least I think so. I also agree the music is less catchy but it feels more folksy and it's really well placed to tell a story

I felt like Anna was the hero of the first Frozen. Did Elsa ever step up, or is Anna still the better sister? Also, I'm excited about Disney consulting the Sami people about the movie before including them. Do you feel like they did them justice? Do they look like Renee Zellweger's old face?
