I've decided to do something a little more interesting than discussing the most "unique" colleges in the world.
Each week in the month of August, I'm going to post ten Youtube Videos associated with school, in honor of August being the "Back to School" Month. For this week, I will type in "High School" in the Youtube Search bar, and sort by "View Count". I will then post the top ten videos I find. I figure this will be a little fun, so I'll get started.

This video is as straightforward as its title, and the oldest video on this list: It's just a clip from the first High School Musical movie, and it specifically focuses on the number titled "Breaking Free". If you ask me, I think I'd rather watch the insurrection against the U.S. Capital Building than watch five minutes of this movie. I watched this clip, and was as happy as Mr. Rogers when it was over.

This is another satirical high school skit, except this time, its focus is on high school bullies. Once again, I fail to see how a snoozefest of a video gets over 50 million views, but nonetheless, apparently some people love it. This video is from the honor of the famous Youtuber Lele Pons, and she is another one I suspect gets views because young males think with their penis.

Once again, Lele Pons uploaded another video, except this one notched over 70-million views. I'm starting to think Lele Pons is just a popular Youtuber, regardless of what she uploads. This time, the satirical high school skit is focused on the dreaded 10-Year High School Reunion. I went to my 10-Year High School Reunion in 2019, and that was much better than my 5-Year High School Reunion, so it's not as "bad" as the video makes it out to be. I think spending ten years in high school is more exciting than watching this video.

This is a cute little skit comparing yourself when you were a "child" to when you become a high schooler, but it's meant to be humorous, except this time, it's clearly geared towards young kids. I also find it astounding this video has only been uploaded for nine months, and has already racked up over 90-million views. That's an average of ten-million views per month!(granted, they released this video before the COVID-19 Vaccine was available in the pandemic, and the day after the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election).

Famous Youtuber ScottDW wins the silver honor, and uploaded a funny little skit poking fun at this "dance-off" scenes in high school-based movies. With that being said, while I did enjoy this video more than Lele Pons's videos, I still don't see how this is worth of over 100-million views.

With over 229-million views, Nicki Minaj wins the gold medal in this top ten countdown! Now, the question begs-was it Nicki Minaj herself which helped her win this honor, or was it the presence of little Wayne? That's a mystery, similar to the mystery of why some people think Minaj has a natural body, and a mystery as to why this extremely boring song has so many views. Nevertheless, her song "High School" featuring little Wayne is the most watched video relating to anything "high school"-even though the song doesn't mention anything about high school at all.
