Guys, boyfriend is fart shaming me? Embarrassing?

So my boyfriend was teasing me because in our 3-year relationship I have never burped or passed gas in front of him. He kept saying that I should be comfortable around him by this point & he doesn't understand the hold up aha :P I kept playfully saying "Girls don't fart. Everyone knows that." He laughed and was like "That's just silly. Girls are humans and humans fart. Just go." I was like "What do you mean 'go'?" He looked at me with an amused expression and was like "Just fart in front me already." I was like "I can't just fart on command!" He was like "Girls are always holding it in. You probably have like three built up." This debate went on for a couple of minutes lol and finally to get him to stop bugging me about it I released the fart I was holding in and he died laughing. He was like "I thought you said girls don't fart ahaha." Now he won't stop bringing up my fart lol and there's just no getting him off my back. He was bothering me when I refused to fart in front of him and then when I did he was making me feel so embarrassed. Why is he messing with me like that? :(
