Like house of cards, American beauty, usual suspects and others
His filmography: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Spacey_filmography

yes because to me they are two different things. Is he a shitty person? Absolutely, but that doesn't mean the movies he has been in (which where directed by others, written by others etc.) are not quality, it just means that same quality in his work is not the same quality he puts into his own life, clearly. He is a scummy human being and if he gets arrested I wouldn't be broken up about it, but to me that's independent of the work he has done. For instance I like Otis taylor, blues musician, however I can say that from his songs he is probably racist. Doesn't mean his music is bad it just means I disagree with his world view. Just like ghandi for instance. He fought for the liberation of his people through non violence and called for peace amongst his people when they started to get violent due to religious differences (between the muslims and hindues), I think this is quite admirable. He was also a racist, had a weird enema fetish from how its described and probably cheated on his wife with a lot younger woman. These are not admirable at all. Doesn't mean the good stuff he did is any less good, it just means that we have to acknowledge that he wasn't perfect. Applaude the good reject the bad, that's all we can do.
Yeah I can still watch them, but I was always indifferent about Kevin Spacey as an actor anyway, so it doesn't affect my choices of what to watch very much lol.
Plus, people's personal lives should be separated, to an extent, from their work. Here's why:
A movie/TV show is not just the product of one actor, but is created by the hard work in total of many people in front of and behind the camera. Any one of those people may be a criminal who hasn't been caught yet, or a racist, or a sexist, or just a plain old asshole, etc.
Watching a movie is like buying any other normal product from some store or company: if you don't buy the product because one of the company's employees may be a bad guy, it will be hard to buy any product at all. Very few things are totally clean in this world, lol.
I don't have a problem watching things he stars in. I still love House of Cards and I'm disappointed to learn they're only making one more season.
I couldn't care less about his personal life. People are getting really hung up on the accusations made against him for something that may or may not have happened 30+ years ago, and how he used that as a chance to come out. Boycotting his work isn't going to change anything - it's pointless.
Oh really? I thought it was confirmed that Season 6 would be the last, implying that it will be released at some point.
The most recent accusations seem to have happened 2 months ago and the earliest one/s in the 80's. So it's not just one or two people looking for money, it's a lot of people with very similar stories *over* 30 years. He didn't do it 30 years ago, he's been doing it for 30 years.
@yoshi_wanna_ask I haven't been keeping up with the stories.
Fair enough, there's been a lot of other stuff happening. I missed out on the story altogether until I saw this question.
Just another thing taken WAY to seriously that I don't even know the full extent of so I'm gonna continue to watch movies that I like with whatever actors actresses are in them regardless of what they've done in real life cause like really you can't tell me that JUST because of these accusations that you won't watch or like Horrible bosses and Baby Driver anymore (Unless you didn't like them in the first place then it doesn't matter to you)
Nah, it doesn't affect my thoughts about his movies.
I'm on the fence about all these women coming forward. Half of me thinks its bullshit, the other half thinks some if not all are true.
I know I'll get several down votes from my fellow pinks but oh well. I'm not here to be popular lol
I feel conflicted because he's really a respected actor who consistently delivers great performances. It's ironic (or telling?) that he does creepy characters so well, that it doesn't surprise me if he's really like that in real life. I hate to say that I'm still a fan of his movies.

Despite what Kevin Spacey may have done off screen, The Usual Suspects remains among one of the great films of cinema history.

Great movie. I love it.
None of this is proven, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were true.
So... I don't think it will influence me dramatically - I've never actually liked him - my gal thinks he's a great actor, which I wouldn't disagree with, but I have always had a feeling I wouldn't care for him on a one to one basis.
Irrational, but there you go...
Doesn't affect me really. All I know is they better continue on with season 6 of House of Cards.
Ugh!! Such as life. Last I read it was going to air in June. So now the show officially sucks. I don't like how it ended 😤😡😤 lol
Yes. I like him as an actor. Also I don't automatically believe accusations, especially against men with game and/or money, since they are a favourite target for attention-seekers and shakedown artists.
*fame
Oh how I detest autocorrect...
You know Hollywood is cutthroat and people are out to get each other? So a lot of the allegations that fly around, we don't know how true they are.
It's all just a load of bullshit and parasite personalities feed off of the negative energy... so don't be like that
idc really, I was never much of a fan of his to begin with. Knowing this now might stop me from going out of my way to watch something but if something happened to be on and I wanted to watch it knowing he was in it wouldn't stop me.
Only thing i watch with him in is American Beauty one of my favourite movies but i could still watch him and detach him from his personal life and see him as a character in a movie.
He's okay as a character when he's being cold or aloof but other than that he's not very good. I also had literally no idea about any of this until I saw this question and googled it. Some people are unbelievable.
I was thinking of watching House of Cards. I'm not going to for the same reason I stopped listening to Chris Brown. They're both shit people who shouldn't be put on a pedestal or idolized.
Of course, he is a great actor, one of my favorites, his acting has nothing to do with his personal life, he might be a bad person, but he is a great actor.
I would watch them on a free service, but I wouldn't pay to buy one of his movies because I don't want to support him.
@Silver158 Actors get some of the video & TV money too.

I dont really care. I dont watch house of cards anyways. The last thing i watched with him in it was like, advanced warfare I think so this doesn't even affect me lol.
He was always one of my favorite actors. Knowing that he was assaulting people sexually behind the scenes makes it difficult to have any respect for him or his work.
Yeah I'd still watch... Some movies of his are real gud... but when I look at his face he looks like a pervert 😂😂😂 (it's my imagination )
Nope... I mean I can... but I'm always going to be thinking of him sexually assaulting men now... Disgusting human being.
Were they really proven or are those still just allegations? If so, I have no problems watching anything with him.
Honestly, I could never stand him anyway. We're hardly talking about the Michael Jackson scenario here...
Of course I can. It's not like I will get sex offender too If I watch his movies.
The media is only talking about his adult victims so far, but he's a frequent guest on Jeffrey Epstein's child-sex-slave island.
I haven't watched much with him anyway so I don't really care.
