Would Sean Connery have still made appearances in movies if The League Of Extraordinary Gentleman wasn’t bad?

Sean Connery was an icon of the screen from when he first appeared as James Bond to when he last appeared in the 2003 movie The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Which was based on a comic series starring well known fictional characters. Connery played Allan Quatermain who was the main character. The film unfortunately was a critical failure and resulted in Connery retiring from acting. He returned in 2012 to voice Sir Billi in a computer animated movie but that was also a critical failure and Connery was absent from cinema until his death in 2020. But now that it’s over 20 years later. If the film was successful, would Connery still be appearing in movies
