What do you think about shield hero getting censored?

Shield Heroes first episode has the main character life being ruined by a false rape accusation. This pissed off a ton of feminism now they have got the dub of the episode to be censored in the West. Removing any claims of the false rape.

I think that this is something fantastically stupid to be concerned over - both by feminists and nerds into anime and manga.

That's ridiculous, that event is the whole basis for the female character establishing herself as a villain, and the main character becoming jaded and ostracized.

Yeah don't even know how they're going to change it. Probably make the main character out to be the villain that he was being mean to her.

I think as a joke they should make the reason why because he turned down the wine he was trying to frame him with. Kind of a hidden message to the people who know really what happened

Or they could rewrite it so he does drink and drunkenly kisses her and then she freaks out about it. That wouldn't explain her also robbing him though

I guess but then they'll all be done off scene. Then cut one or two minutes out making it quite obvious something's missing.

They could change what they say by just replacing the audio and remove scenes but they don't have the money to do new animation.
