Why do so many rappers get killed?

I don't know if it's their shitty music but Nipsy Tussle is the latest victim. What is it in the Rapper Culture that initiates murder? Sure, a lot of them talk about murder in their songs, but I doubt any of them actually mean it. Also why do some take a name that is a rip off from a real person? Nipsy Tussle = Nipsy Russel.

you never really know. A lot of them actually get involved in the shootings and drug/thug life and this comes back to bite them in the ass. Sometimes it's just jealousy, when the people from the streets they hang out in see someone come up from nothing and make a name for himself people sometimes feel like they gotta gun 'em down and put them back in their place. I don't trust anybody, so my guess is that his clothing store was being used as a front to launder money, or just to sell drugs and he crossed some people in a bad way.

True, I don't see too many in the music business being philanthropic. They seem to be for themselves and don't care about anyone else for the most part.

Nobody knows the motive yet, but in general a lot of them happen because they drive and wear expensive stuff around low income areas. A lot of the gang members and whatnot might not like that and can bring it to the next level. What really sucks is that Nipsey Hussle was a great guy as well as a great rapper. When he got shot he was outside his clothing store for underprivileged kids in south LA

Because so many come from gang life. Nipsy Hussle (who in the world is Nipsy Tussle?) was a gang member. Some people claim he left the thug life. I am not certain of how. Most gang members will tell you point blank. If you are a gang member, you are one for life. It is extremely difficult to get out of a gang, especially if you are going to stay in the same community. And if you are a famous former gang member like Nipsy, sooner or later someone is going to try to kill you.

Remember, he was a former gang member. So no matter how he changed, people hated him because of what he did years earlier. And you can bet some of his behaviors were not all that nice.

The same way, so many church, schools, and theaters get shot up! Why they have mass murders... I mean there is murder and violent movies out there that those people emulate, but no one says anything.. hate crimes to church’s, certain religions and nationalities, but no one says anything.. and the mass shooting in a theater was a nerd guy that wanted to act like a villain from a shitty ass movie that he saw... it’s not just rapper culture.. there are more movies out there promoting this stuff than there is music... think about it

I assume it's because they make a public image of being hard and a "gangsta" when they're really not. Doing that causes problems with people who actually are, and it ends badly for the faker.

There is probably a lot more truth in those songs than you realize. Many rappers show off the great deal in their songs, and I have no doubt that many rappers, like Nipsey Hussle, screwed over a great number of people on their way to fame.
