Which do you prefer for gaming: tv consoles or handheld consoles?

I prefer pc, actually, but tv consoles are a close second. Bigger screen, better graphics, better games, more power... They're better in every way except portability and if I'm out, I don't want to be playing games. I want to be paying attention to the world and people around me. Ignoring the world and people are what I do when I'm at home.

I hold them all equally. When I want to chill on the couch tv console. When its serious gaming time then it is PC. When I am on a long car ride its all about the handhelds. Its all about convenience for me.

I'm actually a PC gamer. For me at least, I enjoy it more, especially with a decent gaming rig.

But out of the two, I definitely prefer console! At least you can play it on the tv, so you have a larger screen to see and play the game on.

Consoles are my first choice but I play handheld if I'm traveling. I own an Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, SNES & NES

I don't use any consoles but always end up using what is most fitting. I actually like to game laying down in bed with my laptop. My phone is great for outside and I got a retropie setup in the living room. All powered by my gaming PC that can stream to these devices if they are not powerful enough to run the game I want to play.

But I do enjoy consoles more than handhelds. I feel like playing handhelds when I'm on the go, but Im not often idle when I'm out of the house. The switch is great because I can take it all over the house if I feel like enjoying the porch or garage, but playing on the big screen is the best.

True but very boring story... I was brought up with 3 brothers and they all at one time had consoles, I never had my own (it's only now I realise my parents may of had favourites lol), I only goy hand me downs. So the first console I brought at Uni (as opposed to paying my rent) was a handheld console, so that's where my vote is going!

TV Consoles. I haven't really played on handheld consoles so much before, so it'd take some getting used to, whereas I played on a PS2 a lot when I were younger.

I play the Nintendo switch in Tv mode, only handheld when traveling which is rare. But most time it's one of the xbox consoles running.

i ain't seen much great stuff from nintendo mobiles... except SNAKE EATER 3D!!! that's like the best game for ds or switch... but i can play Snake eater on my HD collection on PS3... so why would i rush out and buy a handheld to play snake eater?

Oof, that's a hard question. I use them both. In general I prefer console, because it's more comfy to play on with the bigger screen. However, I love the kind of games that are made for handhelds and obviously you can use them on the plane and such.

My opinion: pc is better than consoles in just about every category other than portability. This was even more so before most pc games started getting dumbed down for release on consoles.
