Which martial artist/actors did you enjoy watching the most?

My faves— I loved  Jean Claude Van Damme  in Universal Soldier and like 1 other films. I loved  Jackie Chan  in Rush Hour and a few others. I loved  Jet Li  in Cradle 2 Da Grave and Romeo Must Die.  Brandon Lee  was great as the Crow.  Wesley Snipes, Michael Jai White, and Steven Seagal  always impressed me.  Tony Jaa  was good in Fast 7.  Taylor Lautner  made it look so hot.  Patrick Swayze  was good in Road House and stuff.  Chuck Norris  was great as Walker Texas Ranger and i watched a few of his films.  Gina Carano  was good in In the Blood and Fast 6.  Paul Walker  tried lol. He was adorably funny with it.  Jason Statham  is just impressive in some of everything and i love that he incorporates parkour 😍 Fast 7/8, Hobbs & Shaw, Transporter, Crank, Death Race, etc. Whatever happened to  Billy Blank  lol. I used to workout to Tae Bo as a kid  #FeelFreeToList #EverybodyWasKungFuFighting

This is a great question. But when we think of the G. O. A. T. it shouldn't even be a half second thought. Bruce Lee was something that will honestly never be matched. He was a phenomenon. He paved the way not only in movies but in martial arts.
Everyone else sucks... I am completely joking growing up I liked most everyone on this list. A couple came on the scene after my "growing up" era. You had mentioned Taylor Lautner. Let's be honest. Out of everyone on this list he is a pair of clown shoes. He really shouldn't be on this list. Also Paul Walker. Did he even know any sort of martial art? He should be off this list. JCVD was a beast back in the day. Bloodsport was one of the greatest movies. He had a ton a Rad movies. In that same time era Steven Seagal was a hit too he had a ton of great movies and ones I would still watch, like under siege. Today he is a nut. And I know he was a cop in new orleans for a while. Last I read he resigned from being a cop and fled to Russia because he had something weird like sex trafficking or sex slaves. It was something weird. So he live in russia. Chuck Norris gets a lot of shit these days but he was an animal too. He did a few Bruce Lee movies. long before his walker texas ranger days. There is too many to talk about but this was a really good question/list. I appreciate this one. But before I go, for anyone who thinks Keanu is a fake, he knows jiu-jitsu, wushu, boxing, and krav maga, judo and karate as well. That guy is pretty legit.

I love bruce lee for bringing martial arts to the forefront of cinema but I think Jackie chan is by far the most entertaining to watch (no one does the things he did, especially if you watch his early movies from china they are INSANE. He nearly died multiple times with his stunts). I mean he has not only good martial arts and the best stunts (I'm saying it right here and now, no one has ever done a better stunt then jackie chan) he also has a lot of humor as well which makes him the most enjoyable to watch just all around.

I'd say Jet Li would be second on that list. Again, his chinese films are fantastic. Tony Jaa would be third because his are a different style of martial arts and the quick efficient brutality of it is definitly unique and interesting to watch.

I'm not really into martial arts movies. They just seem fake. A bunch of acrobatic martial arts moves where nobody gets badly hurt or disabled. I'd much rather see someone get blown up or stabbed in the head than watch spins and somersaults.

I used to like Segal because of his economy of motion and when he did something to someone it fucked them up and they stayed fucked up. You know, like real life. The whole idea is to disable your opponent and move on to the next one, right.

I hate Van Damme's style. I don't give a fuck about watching men do the splits.

Statham's okay.

Snipes seems bad ass.

Some of the others are very familiar but have no idea who most of the people on the list are.

Definitely Jackie Chan he was like one of the first people to pioneer a mix of martial arts and comedy into his action films. And not to mention he does all his own stunts and has broken every bone in his body. Also he's a perfectionist he would redo the scene as much as it takes until he's happy with the outcome.

I've seen tons of his films and his humor and action scenes are always very impressive. One thing I don't like about most other action films released in the west they try to make all their action characters too badass and borderline invincible.

Jackie Chan characters I feel is a bit more relatable especially some scenes where he's trying to escape from multiple enemies.

Jackie chan made my childhood awesome , i love jet li and his movies , jason star atham is amazing I'm what he does the thing is that in his previous movies je only cared about showcasing his martial arts skills but now he is getting better , Donnie yen is the next person I admire after Jackie chan and jet li , the first I member seeing of jason artham was transporter 2 and never missed another movie i saw almost every movie of him , almost every movie the content is same but I enjoy his movie and and dialogue presentation and voice. , Michelle yeoh is an actress i remember doing her action gracefully , the first film i saw of her is crouching tiger and hidden dragon , police story etc the recent movie i believe saw of her was The Crazy Rich Asians , love Keanu Reeves , and his stunt perfomance the first movie i saw of him was Speed when I was 7 or 8 i think , well Bruce lee is a legend and everyone knows that so nothing more to say about him

That's impossible for me that's a tough one that's a good question but I can't answer it. Way too many good ones on that list. Of course Bruce Lee would have been the greatest of all time I'm pretty sure that. He did things that were insane without all the help a lot of them get. Snf they actually said that Steven seagal was considered one of the most deadliest people in the world with their hands at one time. Chuck Norris is classic. Jet li and Jackie Chan is probably one of the craziest there is. His outtakes are insane. If you want to I don't really consider martial artist unfortunately Brandon Lee I didn't really consider him martial arts I've literally rambled for 5 minutes and then answer the question. I'm going to stop now though.

Everything that you got listed there the way it's listed is the way I would pick it exactly you know Patrick swayze the last thing he did before he died was a series called the beast check it out I thought that he was looking real weak the guy picks up a full grown man and carries him over his shoulder and the first episode he died shortly after that series they didn't think they was going to make it through it

As a fan of martial artist and martial arts in general, My faves are always Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Michael Jai White, Scott Adtkins, and one more Indian Martial artist and actor named Vidyut Jammwal. Google him, he is an amazing actor and martial artist. I would go for Tony Jaa too, but he is only in my second faves list, but still. These martial artists are the best, even in acting. I just love to see them in movies and in their real life experiences.
