Yes , playing video games is equivalent to watching tv , Now if he is in a relationship and constantly ignoring his girl then that can be an issue and if he is lazy as shit then I can see why a girl would get upset but if he is only playing for a few hours after he worked all day and he is just relaxing then she shouldn’t say shit
Is it ok for grown women to spend money on shopping? It is a personal preference and hobby just like playing games is. As long as they are handling business and not neglecting family, there is nothing wrong with it. Same with women shopping. It is ok to go clothes shopping so long as your shopping does not cause financial strain on the family. It is all about balance.
Funny question. It would be in the same zone as: "Is it OK for grown women to: - Watch soap series and believe in em - Hold hands with female friends - Gossip - Whisper stuff in ears of their female friends and go all giggly - Eat candy/lots of sweets
They are fun sometimes but I talk to much shit to be on there playing socom or gta with a bunch of kids... They are fine for a minute but its a very slippery slope into dorkdom
sorry lady if growing up means one needs to give up things they enjoy then I guess im just never gonna grow up im gonna be the grandma/grandpas gamer friend
And at a certain age it's time "grow up" and abandon Twitter, Fakebook, Instafake, and all those other "social" media sites, but of course we all know why people who use them aren't criticised for doing so, and that is because most of their users are female. The hypocrisy is astounding.

Yes, I find it ridiculous to stop someone from doing something they enjoy. As long as your bills are paid, and that isn't all you do, then some gaming time isn't going to hurt anyone. (Disclosure: I make video games, specifically for adults)
It's a decent way to relax at the end of the week or something. But not I'd that's all they ever do. Hell, I was blasting some mother fucking demons before work tonight. But if it gets in the way of productivity it's a real problem.
@jspl90 Just because you lack the cognitive faculties to comprehend my answer doesn’t mean I didn’t give one. If you are going to speak to me, learn how to keep up. But for the sake of my own amusement, and to prove a point here is a simplified breakdown of my typical week. I work graveyard shifts, including my commute I am away from home from 9-13 hours a day. When I get home from work I have a quick breakfast, then workout. The duration of said exercise depends on what I am doing that day, Wednesday mornings I go hiking, which takes 2-3 hours. On Mondays I work on my core, that takes 30 minutes. Some days I attend class via Zoom, some days I do not. I then sleep for 4-6 hours because that’s all the god damn time I get. When I get up, I do homework or study, then have diner and leave for work. On my days off from work I catch up on sleep as much as I am able, take care of errands, do projects around the apartment, and either run, or play a game of D&D online with my friends.
curious how you are so fast to insult my cognitive capability🤔regardless of my skill with perception/insight. so you never watch movies? those usually last more than an hour so your d&d sessions last only an hour? just because I enjoy playing games with friends more than an hour does not mean It is all I do.
@jspl90 You have already given me more than enough to make an assessment. I haven't sat down and watched a movie in months. And no, our games will typically go for around 4 hours. Once a week, which in case your mathematical abilities are just as poor as your literacy ones 4 is substantially less than 7.

No age is too old to enjoy video games. There’s a very sweet and fun lady in her 80s playing video games like Skyrim on YouTube called Shirley Curry. So many people love her.
The trouble with video games is the same as any other fun activity, which is that some people let the fun distract them too much from their responsibilities. But that’s not the fault of whatever it is they’re doing for fun. Anyone responsible with their time has no reason to not be enjoying games of any kind.
Yeah she was worried, she couldn't see the release of elder scrolls 6 so the developers put her voice in the game. You probably already know this but to anyone else reading.. "isn't that one of the most wholesome things you've heard?"
Sure, but I also think it depends on the person. I think it’s a little more acceptable for me, a single 21 year old college student, to play for a few hours a day at the most, than my 30 year old brother-in-law who’s a husband and father to play til 3am and cause him to sleep in til 9-11 am sometimes.

as long as we get our business done... "regularly" is ok... but make sure our business is done... including school, work, makin love to the lady... priorities first Q u Q my manager says OT isn't worth it to him... cuz he'd rather be lazy, but he has debt to pay off... i make a hearty chonk less than him, and i will take OT any time offered so far... and if i'm not working at the farm or OT on my day off, i'm working on my car... or doing errands... there is much to do
Totally agreed. I uninstall all my online multiplayer games at the start of each semester and occasionally play my offline games every now and then, typically to relax after taking an exam.

Why wouldn't it be. I mean i used to be a gamer. But i just haven't found any game rhat has grabbed hold of me since WoW. Now when i look back on it a do see a lot of my life i spent slaying virtual dragons when i could have been slaying real ones. I had fun. I don't regret the time i spent. But i think i'm just done with that time of my life.
I don't like them myself, but I don't see why not. I mean, what's the difference between a night in front of the TV or a night gaming? At least gaming can be social, and it is far less brain-dead. Or do you mean something more? Are there signs that this individual is playing games at the neglect of priorities, like, working, eating, taking proper care of themselves?

As long as you can balance the other aspects of your life that is important to you, it's fine. It's all about balance. Any hobby or job or even relationship can be bad for you if you don't have balance. Gaming is a great stress buster and also nowadays a a great way to be social and meet new friends.
You think it's okay for grown women to watch TV regularly? For old people to do puzzles or read fiction regularly? It's a fucking hobby and everyone benefits from having a one. If it doesn't hurt anyone it's not anyone's business. Don't hobby-shame.
I mean... Games are just a hobby and a way to kill time and either relax or release pent up energy depending on the game. As long as they don't do what I do and use them as a way to escape from reality and do nothing but crave the fantasies within to keep themselves from having an existential crisis or overstep and commit the irreversible sin of suicide. ... I think I need to go see my therapist again.
Yeah, I don't see the problem. Better he's stuck in his "man cave" having fun with his mates on a game, than going out clubbing, always with his mates, without you. At least his home with you🤷🏽♀️

I can agree with that
No I don't think it's ok. At a certain age it's time to grow up.

Yeah I meant daily
Even like an hour or less a day don't think I'd have that big of a problem with it.
Hour or more I would
Yeah, I think that's about where I draw the line. Same as watching that much TV a day.
Agreed
so only one hour of gaming or tv🤔so what should you do then? after doing the chores laundry etc
@jspl90 If chores and sitting on your ass playing videogames is all you have in your life you are undatable. Which means it isn't my problem.
you are not answering me why is it so hard to answer a question😂 since you say only hour of tv or gaming according to you what is better use of time
lets hear what what you with your time

so wanna tell me why you are so hostile and prone to demeaning people🤔
@jspl90 How else would I amuse myself while constantly being spoken to by people like you?

I think if a grown man has a girlfriend or wife and he spends more time
with the video games than her, I feel she should make him aware of it
As long as It doesn't get in the way of important responsibilities.

that's smart. keeping an eye on the boyfriend huh? hahaha 👍🏻
yes, as long as he knows i have needs too.
when i walk in his game room, wearing little or nothing, he had better Pause his game and "play" with me for while.
Word of advice, probably find a guy who doesn't play online multiplayers cause those can't be paused. Might help to know.
So it's all about you then. Why should he "play" with you? If the game is more interesting, he shouldn't.
Yes I also feel it’s fine for grown women to play. I know I do 🙃
