"If you follow my questions you would know that I absolutely adore boudoir and posing in boudoir photography. It's allows me to be expressive and creative. I prefer to take my own pictures because I like my photographic style and eye but sometimes help is needed for better angles. For a professional shoot I would prefer a female taking my pictures unless my man is there with the male photographer so I don't get taken advantage of. Photography is my passion."

Update: My gender preference (s) come from previous trauma. I don't like being left alone with men I am unfamiliar with and I never go anywhere with a buddy. The world can be a scary and terrible place sometimes.

I'd say either. While a woman maybe more respectful, you need a guy with a good eye for sexual attraction too.

Because the photos are meant to be taken with that in mind.

I suppose asking a woman that is attacted to other women could help because then there is comfort and the eye for taking the right type of pictures... But I'd say, overall, it's about looking at their work first, male or female and judging it from there

My girlfriend is a cam girl, she has a male boss. I dont really care because she's always begging me to stay for the live shows. I dont mind it either haha.

In this current time a guy or a girl could try something on/with you so gender almost doesn't matter.
If my SO wanted to do pictures then I'd be more comfortable with it not being a guy but it's more because of my own trust issues

With a graphics degree which contains at least 7 photo courses I can remember including studio work, I would offer my service to shoot her boudoir portfolio myself before going to the outside. If she turned me down, I think that female photogs would do a better job, since they know more of how another female would think, I think.

Note- As bad as the world can be, somehow I just get the impression that you could find a way to suppress almost ANY fool who would want to harm you.

I'd be okay with any gender. I myself being a photographer (not completely pro) can understand the photographer's passion. It will be solely to click pictures.

If it is about my girlfriend in particular then I am sure she'd go for a female photographer. She wouldn't want any other man to see her in nothing.

Also her first choice would be me. 😉

I 100% understand your reasons. And I, for one, always want you to be safe❣ I have several friends that have done shots with pro photographers. Not all are boudoir though. This is one of my favorites. This pose is with her own motorcycle (her identity is hidden). She is a bit of a badass and cool mother of 3.

I would leave it up to her... maybe she is more excited posing for one rather than the other... maybe she doesn't want to feel excited, Since it is her project, I would support whatever she wanted, I would even stay away or attend, up to her... if I didn't trust her... I wouldn't be with her

I wouldn't care. The photographer is a professional. Let's ask those that prefer a female one, whether it would be the same if the photographer was homosexual. Bottom line is that professionals should be able to separate work and personal life
