Are there any TV shows or movies that you still like and watch despite being old? I am still watching Cennet Mahallesi TV series and Hababam Sınıfı film series. Because; Unfortunately, our TV series and films today are not as high quality as these productions.
I said old TV shows and movies, right? So I have to mention the dates: Our legendary, high quality, funny comedy series Cennet Mahallesi was first shot in 2004. The first film series of our quality, cult comedy film Hababam Sınıfı was shot in 1975. And yours?

maybe not on the subject. but American or south American TV series are also really nice. and my favorites; al diablo con los guapos, pecadora, amor comprado, el rostro de analia, torrente un torbellino de pasiones... and more... I recommend if you haven't watched.

Plenty. I can for example often watch an episode of 'Friends' on TV, and I rewatched the whole thing a few years ago even though I have seen it many times, and these days I am watching 'Dawson's creek'. The old Disney movies are also awesome, and the first Star Wars trilogy is the best. I also enjoy many movies from my country that were made way before I was born, mostly introduced by my father. It can give a good insight into how life and society have been, and it is funny how different movies were. There are so many classics that still hold. If a story is good it does not matter that the technology was not as high class back then.

I absolutely agree with your last sentence. The technology wasn't great in the past, but the TV shows and films were definitely of good quality.
I know a bit I have sone friends tbh but the main idea thats what I can catch without listening any dialogues but witch watching film so that is the way I catch the main idea... I think that these bıys are trying to escape from school? I mean they’re always having a trouble and without knowing turkish I can understand that with watching and that is what makes that film perfect I think...
How positive and good you are, the subject of the film is a group of students running away from school by fooling teachers, yes. So do you have any other favorite Turkish movies?

When it comes to Tv shows, none of them will be that old really to me since most if not all came from 2000s. And with us only been 21 years into 2000s i wouldn't really call that old and i was born in this 2000s. I've seen older films but mostly just all horror ya know classic universal films or just all the icons of horror like Friday 13th.

Oh gosh yeah! As odd as it sounds, some of the older shows are better than the new one!
I'm actually watching Twilight Zone as I type this reply! Yeah, it is an old show. I still love watching Andy Griffin and Golden Girls too! They're classics, but the shows aged so well, I can watch them practically every day and not get bored of them.

Yup, Beverly hillbillies, Carol Burnett show, three stooges, the golden girls, ma and pa kettle, green acres, mash, Gomer Pyle USMC, whose line is it anyway, Andy Griffith show, are You being served and mama's house. My personal favorite is the Beverly hillbillies. 😊

We have TV series from classical novels. many versions from the classical novels. I watch every time if I saw that. but for TV quality sorry can't go back it is like going back to play Nintendo.

Most of our current series are either novels adaptations or counterfeit of foreign TV series, too. But what are your favorite chinese series? Which ones do you want to recommend. I'd like to watch a few.

i like the old doctor who episodes with tom baker ! he was my doctor growing up 4th doctor forever! tenant was good but baker is my guy to save the world and he saw the loch ness monster !

I used to love watching old reruns of my favorite shows but these days I find I only like to see things I haven't seen before and that is becoming more and more challenging at my age.
I don't like watching TV series. But I like movies. I generally like American movies. I don't like Turkish movies. But the Turkish movies of old times were really good. I love Yeşilçam movies.

Today's Turkish films are already like shit. Yeşilçam films are really sincere and of good quality. But how do you know Yeşilçam?
I know you don't know Turkish TV series. This is my favorite TV series and film. In my question, I ask which series people like. I mean productions in your language.
I didn’t like Cennet Mahallesi at all. I like Romani people the culture music etc but the ep seems all the same and noone would say it’s high quality except you obviously. Erkenci Kuş and Aşk-ı Memnu i’d say.

Half (maybe most) of Turkey still watching when the Cennet Mahallesi every aired. come on forget Turkey. There are people who watch this series from azerbaijan, turkmenistan and even uzbekistan. and I don't really know the others. I just heard their names but never watched them.
