Gundam in Japan and Rainbow Brite in the US. I was really an oddball though as a boy not liking Gundam. My friends loved it. But I didn't feel like it is real fighting if there are giant robots involved. It's like what am I supposed to feel if they get their arms chopped off? They can just repair it.

As a boy, I loved Hokuto No Ken and Saint Seiya. This is flesh and blood stuff. If someone gets arm cut off, it is not coming back:

Also, I didn't like Macross... anything with robots seemed very undramatic to me because I don't know if they're actually dead or they can come back. But Hokuto No Ken -- there people die and they stay dead. That makes me very tense when I watch a fight whereas I am bored with robot fight:

Saint Seiya was da shit. My Italian friends know it (unfortunately wasn't popular in the states):

It just became about money. I really enjoy cartoons and animation in general, I still watch them if one catches my eye. Recently started watching "Hilda" on Netflix. It's a really cute show. And before that I watched "Infinity Train", and it's honestly been one of the best cartoons I've seen in a while.

Basically out cartoons I watched I didn't like lol. There was one cartoon that stood out to me over the others on cartoon network which actually has an official wiki page called almost naked animals. I remembered at that time even though I was a teenager by then I thought to myself that cartoon network was officially dead.

+1 ySpeed Racer, The Archies, some of those stupid Super Heroes cartoons, usually narrated by Ted Knight. Anything by Chuck Jones after the early `50's. By the early `70's, cartoons were turning shit!! Scooby Doo was probably the last of the good ones and even that was on the way to becoming shit. Hanna Barbera usually made great cartoons but, they lost it by around `71. I mean, c'mon, The Hair Bear Bunch? REALLY? I STILL can't believe that THEY made those incredibly stupid Smurf cartoons!!!
10 Reply spongebob, although, in my boyfriend's exact words, apparently, "if you don't watch spongebob every single day you don't have a childhood." How we got to that topic is a long story, but XD it was so funny

+1 yI thought Courage The Cowardly Dog was stupid and definitely not worthy of the hype people gave to it.
Other pieces of crap also include - but are not limited to - Rugrats, Ed, Edd and Eddie, Mega Babies, Fat Dog Mendoza, and The Brothers Grunt21 Reply- +1 y
I think I can agree with you on mega babies and the brother's grunt. Here's a fact: both Ed edd n eddy and The Brother's Grunt came from the same guy, Danny Antonucci. I loved Ed, edd edddy, still do lol!

I still dont understand why everyone loves that strange show10 ReplyThere were a lot of cartoons that didnβt interest me, but I just ignored them, not hated them. I guess the only cartoon I hated somewhat was The Flintstones. Fred Flintstone was a loud, fat, obnoxious, stupid jerk.
