Like My Hero Acdemia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, The Seven Deadly Sins. I was surprised even UK, US, Europe all heard about it and watch it too. I thought it’s only popular in Asia

List what are your top favourite animes not animes that you watch only because you had nothing to do and actually you didn’t really like. I do watch anime’s that are kinda boring because I have no other anime to watch

The good thing I liked about certain anime’s is because of the story plot, fights and hot/cute guys in them ❤️❤️❤️ Levi can be my husband, Gojo Satoru is boyfriend material, Ryomen Sukuna is so hot but I would only hook up with him not marry him. Yuji Itadori is so cute ❤️ I have lots of simps so I can’t list everything because that would be too much

Slowly but surely.
First there were shows targeted at kids which weren't so different from other cartoons.

And with more interests more shows got a localization which created more interests and so on.

There was also the increased popularity of other parts of japanese culture like sushi or karaoke, as well as KungFu and other martial Art movies,
So an increased general interest in japanese and eastern culture did help as well.

And the internet came around, which helped the popularity with pirated copies and fanmade subtitles, as well as social media helping spread word about this and that show.
With pirated copies you were no longer relying on businesses investing money in bringing shows over and on the shelves of stores.

I actually dont watch that many anime's myself, the only ones i have watched are one punch man, foodwars and another which was about a school prison
