To be completely honest I actually appreciate them for there simplicity.
Yes there could be more going on but not all styles of witchcraft are obvious and extremely dark.
You could use some more props but the point of witches is more natural then super out there over the top and your shots give that.
You feel the natural sense of them and the sisterhood. The clarity is very nice, overall for your first shots they are quite nice. It gives me a modern craft feel. ❤️

Of course I love photography. It forces me to look at the world differently: I now actively look for reflections, interplay of light and shadows, colours, etc., making some very boring scenes interesting
I like showing people the way I feel about a certain setting through my view. It became a love since most of my family and friends had cameras growing up, and some of my greatest excitement as a kid was film develop day. Mom or grandma would get everyone's film and have it developed (or special circumstances, have our friend 'take special care') and everyone would get together to share the memories of everything they took.
I love them, I really do! Fantastic art work and a beautiful mind. Very pretty models as well who portray the witches very well. Great work!
Now for my criticism that you can take with a grain of salt. Never look directly in to the camera unless it will somehow enhance the visual. For an example, the one where the two are combined, the dark haired woman is looking down at her orb sitting atop a spell book, while the white haired woman looks directly at the camera. It's a great shot, but if she had been looking off to the side, perhaps in either your direction or focused on some background prop, that would have made that shot slightly better.
I think you have a lot of talent, couple of the images the focus is a bit soft.
The one criticism I found the most is your framing, I would strongly recommend that you look into the rule of thirds and the Fibonacci sequence.
A couple of your photos with a bit different framing would really pop.
The lighting is pretty solid, if you keep honing this skill I think you will master it.
I do know about the Fibonacci sequence and the rule of thirds, and usually I do my best to adhere to it. This shoot was a challenge for me because of having to work quickly, losing light, working with fire and smoke grenades. I had a lot of fun with it though.
The thing I would recommend for next time is precompose in bad light first, get your framing figured out and nailed down so when you get into the good light you're ready.
It is stressful trying to manage all the things, that is why recruiting an assistant can be such a powerful tool.
Oh yeah, this was just for fun with my sisters as my very first go at a themed shoot, we all had fun. Those smoke grenades were a pain though lol
Just a thought but hang the deer skull from some fishing line, and have her stand behind it next time, that would add a very cool dimension

I think it is a solid learning experience, also I would recommend looking into getting lights, once you start lighting subjects, it completely changes the game.
You could do the skull shoot in your back yard with lights and a black backdrop.
I have been looking into getting a speed light at some point. Just can't justify spending that much on one get. I do have continuous lighting but it wouldn't be practical to use those out doors so much

Very nice quality photos, I actually liked the whole Halloween creepy type stile. You have executed very well some closer shots would be interested to see Im no expert photographer so take that how you wish. And Don't take the hate in these comments to hart some people can't see pictures as real art keep going with it my guy. ✌️

I think photography is pretty neat. I've never dabbled in it, but am always trying to take nice photos of my pets (which is very hard since they seem to always move, lol), projects, etc.

Usually I work with what I have. But generally I will create a mood board with ideas of the style that I’m going for

No we’re not pagan. That girl is my sister, actually both of them are. Our family is of Nordic decent which means tall and hairy lol all of my siblings including me have dark body hair. It’s more noticeable in the winter when we are pale.
OMG! I'm SOOOOOOO sorry! Usually I don't mind it, and I actually kind of like it, so I didn't mean to body shame, but this seems really excessive and her arms seem so manly, so I thought either it was photoshoped, or God forbid, a trans. I thought it was strange, because the rest of her looks so feminine, and that's the only pic you can really see it. Thought I just now kind of noticed it in the first to a lesser extent.
But I still find her very attractive, knowing she's all woman :) She looks tall. You ALL do. And you all look stunning. :) Nordic girls are stunning, but I thought they are usually blonde and smooth.

I used a canon 5D mrk IV with an 85mm lense
i know someone who uses the canon 5d mark iv me i use a mirrorless canon rp. i had the 85mm lense the ef 85mm f/1.8 it took sharp pictures but the color sucked on it and it was soft with some vinetting. i tried the rf 85mm f/2.0 the color was good since canon oversaturated the color, but the sharpness sucked on it at least from my experience and it was horrible in daylight to much shadow it produced pictures came out to dark compared to my previous ef 85mm and my ef 70-300mm has been the best lense for all my needs

This was first attempt at something spooky, I had a lot of fun with it
3,4,5,6,7 are really good 1 and 2 are scary
Canon 5D mrk IV with an 85mm lens. Aperture varied from 1.8 to around 2.5 depending on focal distance.
i actually had that lense the 85mm f/1.8 it was really good at being sharp and getting a lot of light but it sucked at the color scheme. i had the 85mm f/2.0 for the rf mount for my canon rp and it sucked. granted it produced great colors since it was oversaturated but the sharpness was just awful and it produced so much shadow even when there was none and when it was bright really bright outside. overall it was just a really bad lens. my 70-300mm was and still is the best. that lens saved my ass so many times.
i mostly do astrophotography and wildlife. my previous camera the rebel t7 was good but the kit lenses just sucked so i bought separate lenses. then when i got better lenses my pictures were peaking so i needed to upgrade the base and there is a night and day difference between crop asp-c vs full frame and i would never ever go back to crop asp-c ever again. my rp takes 1000x great pictures
lenses are just so stinking expensive, but I will sat that I love my 85, I have a 70-300 but I don't really like it. the aperture range isn't as wide as I would like it to be for portraits and it really sucks in low light conditions
the aperture on the 85mm is really good no doubt and gets really good light especially at 1.8 but the rf 85 just overall sucked. and your line of photography is different from mine. so the 70-300mm won't fit your needs but will mine since my line of photography is different from yours. you know one thing that irks me and drives me crazy is when i hear people and wanna be photographers go on and on about wedding portraits. ugg i can't stand wedding photography it drives me crazy just thinking about it and irks the shit out of me. if i had to do wedding photography i think i would puke it would be the bottom of the barrel in terms of new lows for me for photography. put me in a zoo or in an open field do to astrophotograhy any day of the week and i'll enjoy it, but doing a wedding i'd rather sell all my equipment and never do photography again
