Are you into photography?

I've taken a lot of vacation photos in my life - scenery and architecture, before digital cameras and phones.
My wife is a professional photographer among other things. She shot weddings and portraits. She has lighting equipment and backdrops. When we went on vacations together, she would take interesting angles and close ups of details that I never would have though of. Her stuff was actually artistic. She even entered some of her stuff in photo contests and won prizes. So I learned a lot from her about seeing things through a lens.
She also taught me that having film developed by professional labs paid off. They don't merely develop film, they do all kinds of things with exposure and contrast, etc., similar to what you can do with digital photos now days.
Later, she bought a good digital camera, became a Photoshop expert and started doing interesting things like retouching, seemlessly adding or deleting people, changing backgrounds, creating art, and all kinds of things.
We even started a greeting card business for a while. She would create the images with my collaboration on the designs and details, and I would write the sentiments.
I have an artistic eye and took a couple of advanced placement art history courses in college. So my wife's photographic eye influenced my own ability to take some decent photographs even though I never became a professional photographer.
I do take a lot of photos with my phone now and save them in folders in my laptop. We have some great vacation photos. I also take photos of our yard and of the sky and sunsets from our house because we live in a rural area with an amazing west-facing view.
So you could say that I'm very into photography.
I was into photography much more seriously in the days of film, when it actually cost money to take a picture.
Much more thought went into each shot.
I have darkroom equipment in which I can enlarge B&W prints. It's been many years since I've used it. I'd like to, again, some time. I watched my long-late father to learn what I do know. Thanks, Dad.
Now, with digital photography, I still try to pay attention to composition and to some extent, depth-of-field, but something has been lost for me with the ease of taking pictures these days.
I treasure the printed photos of my younger years, and those of my ancestors.
To try to choose what to print out of my digital library is mind-boggling to me.
The cloud is there to preserve my digital photos for future generations.
Will they want to dig through it?
Your question provokes thought within me. 😊👍
I love taking photos! Especially of scenery, animals, and other people-
I just hate taking selfies of myself, or pictures with me in them. No clue why, but I can make everyone else look great in pictures... BUT myself!
When you talk photography, do you mean selfies?
@exitseven No one in their right mind does that kind of thing, /it makes them look like a goldfish. 🙄🙄
@exitseven You have seen my pic before so you know that is not me. But you might be right about me scaring kids. Wondered why all the trick or treaters run off screaming when I answer the door.

That's funny I was just thinking about the beauty of nature and how people take it for granted. I love to capture it by painting. Once, I decided to take my love of breasts and display them on an even bigger scale. I set up a large canvas in the forest and began painting glorious tributes to melons, honkers, boobies, tits, milkers, chesticles, honkers, bazoombas, coconuts, cantaloupes, boom booms, noogies, and jugs. Unfortunately, my brush strokes were so powerful that they ignited the surrounding trees.
🙄🙄🙄
Oh, my love for photography is like my love for boobs - both are beautiful and captivating in their own unique way. Just like the way I capture the essence of nature with my camera, I love to capture the essence of a perfect pair of breasts with my hands. Each shot I take is like a glimpse into the soul of the world, just as each fondle of a ripe and juicy melon is like a snapshot of pure ecstasy.
The way I see it, breasts are like the mountains and valleys of the human form, each one a stunning work of art just waiting to be admired. They're like the airbags of the soul, cushioning us from the harsh realities of life. They're like the beacons of hope that guide us through the darkness, leading us to a world of pleasure and satisfaction.
And much like a photographer's love for capturing the perfect shot, my love for breasts is a never-ending quest for perfection. I seek out the most tantalizing ta-tas, the most succulent sacks, and the most heavenly hills, always searching for that one perfect shot of satisfaction.
So, yes, my friend, I am very much into photography. But I'm even more into the beauty of breasts - the alluring assets, the captivating curves, and the ravishing racks. They are my muse, my inspiration, my everything. And I will continue to capture their essence with my camera and my hands, always searching for that perfect shot of pure bliss.
Too bad it didn't ignite that twig in your pants. 😂🤣
@Daniela1982 Hahahaha. I sense small breast energy.
Yep. I like photography, especially nature and landscape photography. Anything to do with the outdoors. I just love being outside. Nature is my passion in life. I mostly shoot with my DSLR or a small compact camera though. I'd also love to get back into film photography too. I really miss it a lot.
It's kind of funny you posted a selfie though. lol You should have posted a nature pic! 🙂
A little bit, I used to do black and white photography and add colour back in to certain parts of the photograph.
Some things look very large in your photo by the way...
I'll tell you what I mean in DMs if you ask
I used to develop my own pictures. I had a darkroom set up with an enlarger. I had a 35 mm camera and I used to take a lot of pictures. Now I just use a digital camera and have a color laser printer. I use high gloss paper to make prints.
I am a photographer by hobby. I also do freelancing photography for events like wedding, baby shower, newborn, toddler, portraits, etc.

*It was a long time ago
Actually, I am into photography and I enjoy taking pictures. Here is one of my recent pics, its a Sand Hill Crane.
Lots of mirrors and sinks outside these days...
What was the questions again? Fine as wine you look!
Just on an amateur level. I do enjoy taking photos of nature and wildlife when I can. I remember the day I discovered portrait mode on my phone like it was yesterday lol
Not as a hobby or job. If the time suits. If mood is right. If its something I see that's beautiful. Then I'll take a few.
I took it and print shop for 3 years in high school.
I would say yes as long as it doesn't degenerate into pornography!
No, my photography skill are and I quote 'liie a boomer learning Facebook '
I bought a cannon mirror less with 2 lenses and I took on picture then it was stolen. Thus ended my photo career.
Should say one not on
I was never a big picture taker. My wife always yelled at me for not taking pictures of things I did and places I've been.
I take selfies in a life pose to see if id be good at life modelling for artists to draw or paint
Yes, I do. I mostly take pictures of nature. I used to take pictures of people but when it came to talking my pictures they sucked.
I do, especially nature and portraits. Most I do on my phone but I do have a DSLR too.
