I'm usually pretty good about watching just about any kind of horror film out there, however there are some movies on the more extreme category of things that I'm just not interested in. Movies such as the August underground series, or the vomit Gore trilogy just really doesn't do it for me. I'm not crazy about the fake snuff films.
But if I had to pick one movie that I simply refuse to watch again, it would be a Serbian film. I can take the extreme violence, I could take the graphic sexual situations, but I draw the line at infant rape. To me that was too much and too far.
Wtf. That's not even scary, that is sick AF
To be honest, there really is no scary movie that I wouldn't watch. I mean when I was a kid I was afraid of Chucky but as I grew up I kind of got used to him. This may sound a little dumb, but you might want to watch horror movies constantly from time to time because it will help you boost up your fear immune system from jump-scares are killing the whole nine yards and you wouldn't have to be worried about it; that's what I did. My favorite horror movies of the Gory types such as Wrong Turn and Hatchet.
Wrong Turn is pure comedy to. me.
For me it’s the rob zombie movies.. like for example how they wanted to remake Halloween.. they completely killed those movies for me.. it was more about sex, booze, and tits than it was Michael Myers.. so for me, i would never watch one of those movies.. I had started watching the one from 2007 I believe was the year, and immediately got turned off.. I’m like wow they over exaggerated waaaay too much in this movie and ruined it for me. Lol sorry for rant 🙈🙈🙈
Lol no worries, I love your passion 😂
Thank you ☺️
Horror movies don't really bother me, like at all lol. I'm a huge horror fan so I love it all! The only things I don't watch are the really "disturbing" films. Basically films that go beyond horror and are just straight up fucked up for the sake of being fucked up. Examples: A Serbian Film, Antichrist, Funny Games (I kind of want to watch this one though), Audition Cannibal Holocaust, Salò, The Angels' Melancholia
Oh I stay away from all that stuff lol

Hey, there ShaTTered, You are cute... Well, actually, I have 3 movies. 1movie is ANY! living Dead movies, Mostly the original movie. They really freak me out. 2 is John Carpenter's The Thing. where some guy's head sprouts legs and crawls along the floor, and sucking someone into it. I have to admit I own the DVD of it, but I hardly ever watch it, I can never watch it while eating something, TOO Disgusting for me. And 3rd is the movie Troll, about a warlock that was turned into a troll by a crossed lover witch. So this Troll has this ring he sticks people with and they turn into trolls and wander off into the building basement where all these trolls live in a magical troll realm. These are my creepiest movies. I hope I didn't bore you with too many details.
I've seen Troll and I didn't like it either.
I know exactly what scene you meant in "The Thing", it's really graphic. But that's what also makes it an effective horror movie. :-o
@DryGermanGuy Yes, The Thing is a great movie, well done. It's just too graphic for me to watch. maybe just once in a while is all I can handle.
Most of them, I guess. I'm not really into scary movies in general. But I saw The Exorcist when I was 9 and that one really messed me up. lol I was afraid of the dark for like a year and a half after that. 😂 But just the other night I went on a "The Exorcist reaction" binge on YouTube, so I guess I'm over it. lol
Lol oh nah. I don't watch those movies.
Well, the later ones sucked, but the original from 1973 tends to get to most people. lol In a morbid kind of way, I was actually kind of pleasantly surprised when I saw that it creeped just about everyone out in the reaction videos I watched the other night. lol One guy looked visibly shaken. Welcome to the club, pal! 😂
But you know what the trick is to watching scary movies and not being scared afterward? 😉 Watch a scary movie and then follow it up with a comedy. Doing so takes the edge off and pretty much neutralizes any fear you had built up. Works like a charm. I learned that when I was about 12 when me and a friend of mine would always rent scary movies (on VHS!) during sleepovers. lol
Lol I always watch early in the day and make sure I watch cartoons and lots of upbeat things afterwards to cleanse it from my mind lol
There you go. lol
Basically any of them. I’m not big on horror. I mean, I like some gothic fiction and some dark comedy but not straight up, keep you up all night for fear of getting nightmares” horror. My go to Halloween movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s slightly dark, but also playful.
Lol so any scary movie I watch is always early in the day, wayyy before bedtime lol
There isn’t one I won’t watch. I love scary movies! IT really isn’t that bad it’s more funny then scary and the clown is so cute! You definitely should give it a go it’s worth it. As far as Candyman goes can’t say I’ve heard of that but the title is really fun
There is nothing cute about clowns 😭😭😭
🤡 but look at that cute little face. How can anyone be a hater?
Lmao stahp. I have a clown phobia!!!
Sorry 💕
I am a scary movie fanatic, I have every single horror movie 3 times at least. I would rate insidious at top.
After everything ghost related horror movie I have watched I realized ghosts don't scare me at all, it's the humans that scare me way more, thiefs and murderers are way more scary than any ghost or jump scare I had.
Humans are way scarier than ghosts.
Yep exactly and I believe in ghosts existence as well, so it's scary to think someone like me would be way more scared by humans than ghosts
There aren't any I won't watch due to being scary. But there's very few I will watch because they're usually just really bad movies. Plus most seem to use gore with no suspense. The suspense is what makes them scary.
Fair enough
Am I the only one who found IT stupid to the point I found it boring
amityville is one movie I have watched but will never ever watch again the conjuring is a movie I do want to watch but won’t watch it alone
I wouldn't know about IT because I refuse to watch it. The original scarred me for life.
The Human Centipede. I'm not watching a movie with one of my phobias in it. I would probably get nightmares from it
Omg. That movie is so damn disturbing.
Don't watch The Dentist 1&2
Don't fckn do it
Do not even Google it
I've warned you
No it's not reverse psychology, skip that 10y trauma...
Lol im not
Conjuring 1 (again)
Insidious (never finished and never will)
Paranormal Activity (saw once and didn't want to see any more)
Candy Man (original; again)
Exorcist (ever)
The Ring (ever)
The Grudge (again)
I once purchased the tickets for black swan and left within 5 minutes cause I was scared. That’s when I learned the movie refunds your ticket if you leave within the first 45 minutes of the show due to violence or disturbing scenes in the movie.
No horror movie has the remote ability to scare me lol
Suuure
Human Centipede. I don't know why but it makes me sick to watch
Because it's freaking disgusting lol
I'm certainly not gonna watch 120 days of sodom, only saw a recap on youtube and there are scenes where people are forced to eat poop and that is too much
I mean after 2 girls 1 cup, I'm not sure poop scenes have an effect on me. anymore
I also didn't dare watching that. I usually dont mind gore but poop stuff is out for me
I lean more to enjoying smart suspenseful horror movies. Like The Shining. I do not enjoy blood and guts horror with gratuitous violence just for the shock value.
I don't really watch most scary movies.
I used to put on a Jason movie and then be like "Why am I watching people killed?"
Scary movies stress me out and I already have enough stress in real life.
I’m not watching The Nightmare Before Christmas again! And I’m not watching Hocus Pocus!
Shut your mouth! Hocus Pocus slander will not be tolerated!
@JohnE_62 I don’t watch movies with witchcraft. It goes against my Christian beliefs. I watch The Wizard of Oz every Halloween.
You realize that most movies have hidden messages and evil symbolism in them right?
The only movie that actually scared me when I was a kid was "candy man" 🤣... My favorite is zombie movies 😁but I don't think I know any that I won't watch because too scary!
Splice, Human Centipede, Tusk
Those movies look disturbing as hell. My friend put Tusk on at work and I made him turn if off. It started off good, but then got really disturbing.
Human Centipede is extremely disturbing
I bet. The South Park spoof was already disturbing, I can't imagine how bad the original was. Seriously, what sicko wrote that film?
Tusk is extremely disturbing as well. Don't ever watch it.
There’s no scary movie I wouldn’t watch, but video games! Resident evil 7 is the scariest shit I’ve ever played and did it once.. and never again lol
Lmao how
