If I can see myself in the mirror, then by definition I am there. If I can’t see myself in a mirror, it’s because I am just at an angle where the light reflected from my face is reflected at an angle that does not reach my eyes. If I simply move in the correct direction, reducing the angle I will be able to see myself.
Remember the “Angle of Incidence Formula”
The angle of incidence is equal to the reflected angle through the law of reflection. The angle of incidence and the angle of reflection is always equal, and they are both on the same plane along with the normal. Hey, I’m #NotJustAPrettyFace20 Reply

Patrick Bateman had severe psychopathy and was a sociopath. Meaning he never learned to identify his emotions with other humans and form attachments that humanize himself or others to him... thus which is why he felt like he had no feelings or "wasn't there" which is how he became a serial killer. if you identify with Patrick... and you haven't violently murdered a hooker with a chainsaw... then you should probably turn yourself in now because you will sooner or later.

As long as you can ‘hide your cold gaze and shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours’ you should be fine, lol

Unfortunately, yes. I constantly shift my views depending on convenience, adapt my opinions and personality depending on who I'm talking to and I'm unsure what I even truly hold dear. I don't know myself. I'm just hoping that by the grace of God I'll be able to figure this out.
10 Reply Yep, I've had that happen. My brain just takes much longer to process what I am staring at. I mask around others without even thinking to hide my understimulation, and not quite being "present". So when I look at "myself" in the mirror, its as though I am looking at nothing at all.

I'm usually there in some form or another even if I'm sometimes out of it. :-D I'm also not so materialistic, unlike Bateman who seems to base his entire self-identity around his possessions.

When I look in the mirror I always come to the conclusion that I was more handsome when I was 15 years old.
