No I am not a paranode conspiracy theorist, but honestly I think the effects of social media have Zombified all of us to a certain degree... back in the day you did not have this endless stream of bullshit being funneled into our homes. Its just endless bullshit that you either choose to believe, ignore or just become numb to in general... so we are Zombified because facts in this world are too hard to come by and truth and justice are not the same thing.
