The Borg vs The Zerg (with Xel Naga Kerrigan). Who would win?

I'd probably give the edge to Kerrigan.

I don't know if she'd be able to mind-control the Borg like she can with the Zerg, but she could presumably whip up psionic storms to which they would likely be unable to adapt. She'd also have, you know, legions upon legions of zerglings, ultralisks, and hydralisks that she could unleash on the Borg. The planet Char is also essentially a gigantic volcano, so that wouldn't serve the Borg well either.

Even if it were a battle in space, I don't see the Borg getting very far. Their shields adapt to energy-based weapons, but are useless against blunt force and Tommy guns, both of which are clearly demonstrated in Star Trek: First Contact (arguably the best Star Trek film yet, or at least within spitting distance of The Wrath of Khan; the less said about the recent Chris Pine-helmed movies, which are basically just high school in space, the better). Mutalisks and scourges would also make short work of the Collective.

Additionally, she could have overlords transport ground units to a Borg cube or sphere.

So bottom line, my thinking is that the Borg wouldn't last five minutes against the Zerg.

The Borg in the William Shatner books are more powerful than the movie/television series Borg. they've assimilated telepaths before, so they are not defenseless against Primal Queen Kerrigan, but I agree eve Primal Queen Kerrigan is stronger than any telepath the Borg have Assimilated. The William Shatner Book Borg control the entire Universe and even the entire 11-dimensionanl multiverse, except the Alpha Quadrant of the Milky Way.

Movie Borg get steam rolled by this, but Shatner's Book Borg can probably fight it. I don't know. Not with Kerrigan raining down Psionic Storms and Apocalypse on them though.

Adaptive Armor Vile Roaches for the Win.

Have you ever seen a Code S player play the Campaigns? I'm Code S Zerg and Protoss, and I find th eZerg campaign way, way too easy. I can win it by just massing any random unit I want to on any map. Adaptive Armor Vile Roaches and Swarm HOsts are probably the two most broken units in the Zerg Campaign.

Well, Kerrigan is just an unfair inclusion. Post-Xel Naga, she'd wipe the floor with the Borg.

Without her, I still think the Zerg would win, anyway. The Borg are powerful, but the Zerg are practically limitless. Massive casualties on both sides, but the Zerg would literally never stop.

The Borg couldn't even beat Species 8472, and the Zerg are nearly as powerful, and far, far more numerous.
