I got a special sword (wakizashi). My father-in-law is swordsmith (Japanese) so I got this short sword with no handguard to it as a wedding present.

It was designed to be concealed when samurai swords were illegal (Haitōrei, late 19th century). So they smuggled these little swords into the ships and then get off the ships and just kill people.

I got it hanging above my computer. But I haven't killed anyone yet with it. But I'm waiting if someone breaks into my home. I will kill him with this sword.

Nobody ventures into my home yet though. I leave door unlocked whole time. Maybe I need to put a sign like, "Hey robbers, this house is unlocked." Then maybe I can kill someone with my sword.

I don't know what I'd need a sword for. And I just watched The Northman, but I don't think I'll ever be in that kind of situation.
