Are movie theaters back?

They used to have a drive-in where they used to show old movies. But when land became expensive it closed.
I hope so! I love the theater.
Woohoo!
Thank you for the MHO ❤

I don't know, but I don't know anyone that goes to a movie theater on a regular basis. I went last week but it was probably my annual event.
For me it has to do with others, they ruin the experience... they talk, they text, they won't shut the fuck up. They think its a big party area, rather than a place to watch a movie.
People want to go to the movies, and COVID stopped being a concern once Omicron hit. The real issue is: is the movie woke and terrible, or free of wokeness and good.
There's a reason that movies like Top Gun is breaking box office records (not woke, good writing) and many others are under-performing. People have less and less tolerance of wokeness.
There's still some decent risk going to the movies on the first days of releases. Are much less people dying? Yes but it's still happening and people are still being infected. Who wants to be sick even if you'll live through it though? Not me. There's also this new thing called monkey pox. There are def some areas that are much safer than others though
They may see an increase back to pre-Covid levels.
However, I refuse to give Hollywood my money.
I wait and watch reruns on my 55" TV. Popcorn is much cheaper too at my house!!
Yes, movie theaters are back. In our area in the Southeast, they've actually been back for several months. My SO and I have gone to several movies over the past year, most with very few people in the theater, but they're starting to fill up again.
I'd rather support movies and theaters than streaming services for new releases. Planning on seeing Top Gun 2 in a couple days actually.
Welcome to 2022. Seems like you might have missed the last year or so. We’re glad you are here.
I hope so. I like going to movie theaters. Streaming is boring and lame.
I haven't been to the movies in years now.
They’ve always been around just COVID-19 shut things down for a while
No way - too dangerous.
I would love drive ins to make a come back. It sucks that people don't like fun things.
