Is it normal to go to heavy metal shows alone and not interacting with people?

Due to betrayals and rude behavior endured, I find metalheads to be among the rudest, most pretentious people I have ever encountered. I love the music, but dislike the fans, since they have a habit for betraying trust. I also am resentful of the racist remarks I endured over time, since East Asians are few in the metal scene.

Contrary to the stereotypical nice metalhead, I found a lot of the ones in my scene, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to be among some of the most disrespectful people with chips on their shoulders and they're taking it out on me because I am a freak. A racial minority with autism. Metalheads hate being judged, yet they judge a lot.
It's to the point that I am devoid of trust and have become really silent at shows to the point that I am refusing to speak to anyone unless I am to order a drink or merchandise.

Does anyone else feel this way?
