While the current OLED 4K TVs we have now are obviously more sophisticated overall, what CRTs have over OLEDs and LCDs are better contrast ratio and higher refresh rates, which did better for first-person shooter gaming.

No, they were big and heavy, the pictures did not have the same resolution. They generated x-rays and heat and used a lot more electricity. No wonder you cannot give them away.

No, I don't miss CRTs. They had their time and were very useful. Modern non-CRTs use less energy, weigh a lot less, and have much more functionality.

They also had a higher fail ratio than lcd/plasma/oled sets. Not to mention costing a lot more and not being very easy to service.

Nope since I still have one. CRT TV are a must have for vintage video games, especially one's that require use of light gun that only works with CRT TV.

cause you can literally do 4K on a CRT EASY
