It's a proto-stereo mix, so it sounds all weird. I don't find any issues with the lyrics though. It uses both saxophone and distorted electric guitar, which is interesting since the distorted electric guitar sound - technically a softer distortion known as overdrive - is what replaced the saxophone in rock music, which is because of the guitar sound on another Rolling Stones track, being "Satisfaction".
In the early days of Stereo, the mixing engineers used to put different instruments/elements kind of everywhere, you could e. g. have an entire drumkit either slightly off-center or fully to one side. I find it strange that this song starts out with the drums off to the left, but the kick and snare move to the center after a while. I wounder how they did that, Has to be two different mixes spliced together.

I prefer " PAINT IT BLACK " personally Lol saw them live in Philadelphia when I was in HighSchool, you know when Velociraptors Roamed the earth LMFAO and Trex was still the biggest bada$$ on the Earth. OMG WAY TOO FUNNY, I am still laughing

did you hear it the same time I did? ok ok... I heard it after my shower, I always have the radio on, in the bathroom while i shower. I turned it off, went into my bedroom where the huge sound system is, and turned up that volume, I listened to that song 5 times. Ha!
