A brand new/somewhat new game that came out or a DLC to an existing game that you recommend?

It can be for PC or consoles that you highly recommend or to look into.

I've wanted to get back into gaming other games instead of one or two games I always play in my free time.

This depends on you and the games,

If you really love a game, you should get the DLC (off course there are some DLCs which aren't worth the money, so be carefull and check what the DLC is actually offering)
But usually you simply get more stuff of the game you already like.

New game is more risky, as you may never know if you will like the game, but nowadays you can simply check out video reviews on youtube and get a pretty good picture what the game has to offer.

There is the price tag, as DLCs are generally cheaper, than any new game, but won't offer as much playtime anyway.

The Outriders DLC worldslayer seems interesting if you're familiar with that game. I never got that base game because, well, it was broken for a long time. Now, there is a DLC that came out 2 days ago. Though I like shooter games, MMO games similar to Destiny 2, and games by Epic. But I'd be down to try anything. I was looking into Elden Ring because it's a single player (not that I don't play with others) I love a challenge.

I never played elden ring or outriders, they both seem interesting, but can't say anything about them besides what i heard from youtube videos, and these you better watch yourself.
