Because this is otherworldly! There is no way we are alone in this universe!

Space is very beautiful indeed. It is also very , very hostile to life. The lack of water in most places , the cosmic radiation , the mixture of toxic gases , the crushing pressure , the extreme heat or cold of most the galaxy , the lack of a magnetic field means that 99.99% of space is hostile to life. That we live on a planet that affords us some protection is almost a miracle.

As for ETs' - I'll believe in them when I see them.

Most people now are so used to look at these that they don't understand how absolutely incredible and fantastic what we see.

We now have machines showing use pics of the other side of the universe. We have a machine, on another planet, showing us pics of its surface as if we were there.

We can see places that are now millions of kilometers away. It's so amazing.

We’re definitely not alone but I think when alien life forms pass through our galaxy they lock the doors and speed out quick. But space is gorgeous and incredible. One of my favourite things to do is sit out and stare at the sky

Did you see the new NASA pics from the telescope today? Lurking galaxies. jet propulsion streams coming out of stationary stars... It is super interesting.

I agree. We are not alone, but we humans may never meet other lifeforms because of the great distances involved... at least not until the universe shrinks back on itself for, ultimately, another Big Bang.
