I look up at the night sky and see stars and constellations now and then. I like looking at the moon. And I long to see a comet or shooting star.
I think I even saw a rocket π launch into the night sky when I was in Florida (Cape Canaveral).

Not particularly. Sometimes it's fun to look up at the night's sky and know just how far away all those stars and planets are, to know just how vast the universe is (even within our limited knowledge of it), and how truly insignificant our miniscule planet is by comparison, etc. It's fun to think about sometimes, but that's about it.
However, as far as space travel is concerned, because a general interest in space almost always comes around to the topic of space travel, I have absolutely ZERO interest in it. Even LESS than zero if that were possible. I consider it an utterly frivolous activity, and an incredible waste of money and resources. I'd rather put all of that money, resources and human talent toward curing cancer, or solving any of the other innumerable issues we have here on Earth.
Also, the idea of humans relocating to some far-flung planet in order to "save the species" is a BS myth too. Despite what everyone has been brainwashed to believe about the "viability" of it, the supposed "science" of doing so doesn't back it up. It's all complete BS. The idea of living elsewhere only keeps being perpetuated because there are too many rich people and government agencies with financial interests in space travel, and there's TONS of money to be gained by keeping the myth going. Or better said: too much money to be lost by not keeping the myth going. It's why you have Jeff Bozo and Elon Muskrat sending their junk up into space with even further BS space colony delusions, because they know space is the new frontier of making money. Like, they already couldn't make enough money here on Earth, now they have to make even more into, and including the farthest reaches of our galaxy. 🙄
The thing is, Earth will always provide, but only if we save ourselves from ourselves. We need to take care of ourselves and our planet here ONLY. Earth is the only shot we have for actual survival, and any BS dreams of living on whatever planet, is not a feasible, nor a logical idea.
Space is a fun and even awe-inspiring thing to think about, but meh, beyond our own stratosphere I have no real interest in it. I'm okay with just looking at it from the ground at night. 🙂
Anyway, rant over. lol Bet you didn't expect that kind of tangent! 😂
I used to have a reoccurring dream when I was in preschool. I was the captain of a spaceship and my brother was second in command, and the crew was all the kids in my class. I think I watched too much Star Trek and Star Wars as a kid haha. I live in an area where there is a lot of ocean haze, smog, and light pollution blocking a clear view of the stars at night unfortunately.
The mysteries and revelations of outer space can be fascinating.
However, I'd give greater importance to where I live.
I still have so much more to discover and learn about our amazing planet which would be far more beautiful if all the destructive humans weren't around.
I mean do you like looking up to the night sky?
Oh, yes, indeed!
I even took up an Astronomy class because I wanted to understand more about the objects I see up in the sky.
Cool
I love anything cosmic and intergalactic.

I always love laying out in the dark star gazing! I live in the country so itβs pretty amazing most of the time! In August I went camping during a meteor shower and saw some incredible shooting by stars!! The sky and the stars are a reminder to me of how small I am and how massive the world and universe are.
I have always had an interest in space and loved going to planetariums as a kid and love the night sky. I have seen a comets/shooting stars. I have toured Kennedy Space Center and Johnson Space Center.
Been to Cape Canaveral?
I sure do and now there is an app you can use to look up stars and planets to find out which one is which. Did it on last Saturday and it was really fun.
If you like seeing a Comet or shooting stars you need to do it between 2-4 am in the middle of the night. I don't know where you live but the best thing about living in rural areas is you can sleep outside and see all the stars at night 🤞
Looking at the stars is very wonderful and love walking during the full moon
Plus, I want to know what kind of life lives in underground oceans on moons such as Europa
Yes, I love space. It's a beautiful, peaceful place. The pics from the James Webb telescope are amazing. Like art.
Tell me about your NASA
Yes! When I get the chance. If I'm in the country side. I could lay there for hours looking up at the the stars. The longer you stay, the more you start to see. I've seen a lot satellites and space station over shooting stars. But if seen a bunch in the past. Heck the biggest one I've seen was in the city (suburban) area out of my window. It was like 5 seconds long and huge. Took a lot of moon pictures.
I saw a night space launch by Space X one night in while going home from work in South County CA
I do indeed! Itβs actually one of my main interests. Thereβs a great YouTube channel called SEA, which is one of my favorites. One of the best
I know a lot of the constellations because I see them clearly in the evening hours, but. it's not something I've studied a lot. I see shooting stars/small meteors all the time and lots of space junk/satellites orbiting the earth.
Yes. See if there are and local "night watches" in your area - where astronomers gather with their scopes and let others join in on the interesting fun.
I used to love astronomy and cosmology, but now have more Earthly interests.
As far as space travel, I think other than near earth exploitation of resources, that's all we'll ever do.
I like the full moon and the stars on a dark night.
I can find the big dipper and that is it.
Not travel there. But its nice seeing all the stars without all the light pollution.
If I see Alf then sure 😏
No I have no interest in space but my husband loves it.. even though I find it so immensely boring :/
Yes, use to make model rockets. Still enjoy documentaries and the like.
I find outer space fascinating. Like relative size, distance, and time in an infinite space.
Yepper. I've watched through the cosmos probably 10 times
βTo infinity and beyond!!!β

I wish we could fast forward to a time where we figure out warp drive.
oh well ill just watch more star trek
