Do you play video games at the hardest difficulty?

I like a challenge so usually yes. If it isn't the hardest it's close to the hardest. I think because I played a ton of video games in my childhood that I got kind of bored of them. If I'm not struggling working at it, I usually put it down and do something else.

I'm currently playing Sekiro over again and it's modded, the movesets of the bosses are different and there are more strong mobs. And on Hollow Knight I'm trying to do all bosses on Radiant.

I do once I have done a playthrough of it on medium and that is the way I always do video games. Start at medium to learn the game and immerse myself in the story for the first time then go hardcore round two.

No, i usually play normal and switch to easy when i die too much and get stuck. I want to enjoy the game and i don't have time to suffer through the "challange".

Depends on the game if I'm tryna play a souls-like like Dark Souls or Sekiro my ass not about to be on a harder difficulty 😭😭

Most of the time i do as failure is how you learn to play.

Some games really do have a hard mode though included for people who have beaten the game on a non trivial setting but still want to play again.

I play easy mode because I prefer the role play over the challenge. For example, Batman kicks ass, every time. He doesn't die 5 times before he gets it right

Not usually. Back when I played, I would do harder than normal, but not quite the hardest difficulty. I never care about being good at games like that.

In most cases, though I much prefer games that do not let you choose difficulty settings at all, and are just difficult period.
