While traveling, so many people have assisted me with directions or showing me how to use automated ticketing machines that it would be impossible to count them.

As for myself, if someone looks hungry, I'm usually good for a free lunch- no cash, food only. Otherwise, I once picked up a hitchhiker and drove him from Portland Oregon to Sacramento CA, dropping him off in front of his mother's house before continuing on my way back home.

It was a 9 hour drive, but the guy was a good conversationalist and had interesting opinions on a variety of subjects. During fuel stops he would get out of my car and clean the windows. He bought my lunch at a McDonalds, but because he didn't order anything for himself, I was uncomfortable eating.

Kindest I've ever done is change someone's tire.
Kindest I've ever recieved is someone mowing my grass while I was on vacation.

I was 13 in line for a rollercoaster with my friends, girl in front of me starts swaying side to side and pretty much collapses on me. Her dad is freaking out so I helped her out, put her into recovery position and gave her my bottle of water.


Nicest thing someone has done for me is get me an autograph shirt from my favourite actor that he wore in a scene of my favourite show.

I opened a door once for pregnant lady and she smiled and said thank you. I could tell she was having a rough day.
