Anyways, to answer the question; yes, all the time. Currently, I have beans in a giant can (works somehow), flour in old rice containers, and bags for everything, literally.

I love that you have the eye and the capability and the want to do that there are so many things out there that you can make beautiful things out of that are already built for you you just have to use your mind to create something that's beautiful from it I love doing things like this

I love starting plants in cut down two liter plastic bottles. I can see the root development due to the clear sides. And, it’s easier to judge how much water they need.

Sometimes I do , I have old glass milk bottles I use to hold coins, I reuse cardboard boxes

I save any jam, jelly, chutney, pickle jars etc to make my own preserves. I have a pickle jar full of origami stars.
