I think its really good , but I think art should be about participation and expression , individuality etc..
Your creative and have your own style and personality which I like, if you had used different colours or avoided using different shades of the same colour, I would have given you a higher rating because your technical ability is very good.
Its not bad but what is it? A flower or a bunch of pokemons?
Oh wow i used to make art like that! But i recall it being called something different
I can't remember thats why i didn't say lol
what canvas is this and what marker/paint did you use?
@p6xbun in that case let me give u some advice. I think it looks good imagination wise but it shows that u r a newbie regarding technique. A Canvas is a higher quality carrier for paint than just paper. Hence it presents the paint differently. Naturally, you also have to paint in a certain way to get that quality effect. Its best to start of with 1 to 4 layers of undercoating. It can be any color. The point is to hide the structure of the canvas surface. In general try to work in layers. It gives your colors and painting more depth. More paint is never bad. My art teacher used to force us to distribute the remaining paint from the palette on the painting just to get those layers down. Wether the colors fit or not is not that important. This is sth for the later stages of the painting or details.
U can try googling it, but u won't find a tutorial on how exactly this works. just put layer after layer and throw the paint on. In tutorials it is often overlooked bcs most artists do it intuitively like this and the few who dont are pros who can achieve said effects either way.
I wouldn't call myself a big shot but I took part in several exhibitions in my hometown and worked together with internationally active artists who sell their pictures for 500 eur. minimum to several thousands. If u believe to be qualified enough to disregard my advice feel free to do so. I am just wondering why you never asked me the reason I gave u that advice but instead why it is legitimate. Since its art I can only suggest u try it and if it does work for you -great. But I dont see the point in asking for advice and then arguing if its the right advice from the right person.
U asked for advice, u get it.
