Painting Titled:
”Fifty-first World Problems”
I like it very much.
First world problems are often self created false problems that only people with too much time and too little real problems deal with
As such I can see how the tornado of cool colors comes to spoil the arm colors beneath it but if you think about it, both layers are a mess
So the change is inconsequential one color replaces the other and the painting maintains the same energy
Note that I’m fairly new in my appreciation of abstract art. I used to find it meaningless and have been trying to widen my perspective in recent times
So i might still miss the overall point
I find it a little " noisy". ... many details that don't add up to a message. This is perhaps only me, though.
What I also see: skillfull work with the 'paint mateial'.
Anyhow... I remember one specific school lesson from quite a while ago - where (in Arts class) a classmate commented: "I could have done the same".
Teacher then said: "Well. Why didn't you?"
...
Today I saw that YOU did - and that's good 🙂
The painting isn’t bad, though abstract is always difficult to judge for technical skills but you can see the effort in the layering of the paint with the different shapes and how defined they are within the top half of the canvas while the bottom half is much more amorphous. If nothing else, it looks like someone enjoyed making it, but the meaning behind this imagery is completely lost on me in relation to its title.
Love that title 😄 It immediately flips “first world problems” into something more surreal and cosmic. Without seeing it, I’d imagine layered, chaotic imagery, maybe social commentary or sci‑fi vibes. Concept-wise I’d give it 9/10 just for the clever wordplay and potential. If the composition and color harmony match the idea, it could be a really striking piece 🎨✨

Well that's what my first question what was the name of it
.
I called it in the eye of the beholder.
I can understand your title because you have a lot going on in it with lots of detail but yes I like it
For sure 7 -8 I dont really see world i see 3 maybe 4 or no 5 people in it its like the girl the guys big I but her reflec.\n Tion is down by the guy's news. She has her big mouth over his nose. In a way, and then towards the back up on top, the guy with the big eyes reaching up, grabbing ahold of the other guy's eye.\n And then he kind of splits into you can see the guy has big square teeth. No big lips and\nHe kind of just if you look at it in the right way , you kind of goes back into 2 different types of guy, but yeah, I can see the arm reaching for the other guy's eye, I can see 2 guys face in that guy's face or off to the left hand side, I guess, but I mean there's a lot of things in there. I like
It's a nice burst of colour. But it isn't art. I know. Because art is what I say art is. And it isn't.
It's kinda cool! A bit psychedelic! WAY better than the shit I was just looking at and commenting on seconds ago!!
It looks like there's a much bigger painting behind the painting..
Lol yes a porch chair I’ve been working on.
I like it but don't see how it demonstrates 50 first world problems
Surely Piccadilly Circus 🎪 should have such a permanent artwork or Picasso would approve
👀 an all seeing eye.
Are all fifty depicted in the painting? 🤔🧐
It's okay. Very interesting
It reminds me of the 70's!🙂
