Titled: 51st World Problems
ok my lovelies, I read all the comments and critiques and much agreed it seemed wanting something. This is the beginning of my upgrade to “51st World Problems” so not finished but I’d like to hear your thoughts on the direction its going so far.
And yes I rewrit the title to help maybe be more clear as to the sci-fi word play I was intending to elude to (Area 51, astronaut, spacey shit, get it?) rather than 50 first world problems. Hopefully now more clear.
I’ll post pics of before and now for all you new lookers who didn’t see my first post.

Going from an abstract to something more concrete does make the image clearer. It does seem a fitting commentary on the current political climate and shows how much damage is being created by the government to its own people, let alone the rest of the world. And I appreciate how much it can be interpreted to lean in to an astronaut’s interpretation of home, how much they’ll talk about how little their problems seem to matter in space, as well as how the earth can have a unique smell of rot when they enter the atmosphere again that doesn’t go away and they have to learn to get used to it.
And honestly, I thought “51st world problems” might have been a reference to the movie Planet 51 the first time around, which is a cute kid’s movie if you ever watch it.
